The online ticketing for the toy train in matheran is discontinued without any reason. children cannot enjoy the ride as the train timings are very irrelevant and difficult. also there is no fix time table.

With Reference to train ticketing, & increasing the income for railways: Need to add an option of 'Adjust' in Ticket booking System. Since any child above 5-6 yrs needs valid ticket as an adult, so a seat/berth is booked for half the price in this case. If we use 'Adjust'option the child can be accommodated with parent for say 10%-25% of Adult ticket and free the seat/berth for getting more revenue to the railways. More people can travel, hence generating more business for all and savings to all.

The reservation software used by IRCTC has serious flaw in it through which touts and corrupt railway employees are manipulating reservation system. It should be immediately audited by reputed software firm to detect the bug to restore credibility of railway system.

Why should the money going in the pocket of unauthorized persons should not go to the public fund. The railway system is better fit for long distance journey. If the short distance journey in long distance trains is made costly then rush in long route trains can be handled.

To stop unauthorized e-ticket booking. The cancellation money should be paid only after the train reaches its destination. multiple bookings of same passenger from similar source-destination pairs in a row should not be allowed. Reverse premium should be charged for bookings prior to one month from date of journey. The quota should be made flexible if more passengers are available then more bogies can be attached or twin trains can run for the same destination.
