trains should have system to communicate to mobile of passengers, TC must have a digital check list , when any any passenger is absent and seat is vacant system automatically allot seat to person in waiting list who are in train , for that a system of registration of peoples boarding at station can be created ,

Once we were travelling from Delhi to Pune (Jhelum Express) but there were no seats from Delhi. Accidentally one tried from Agra and RAC were available from their (which later on get confirmed). So my point is that there shall be an option by which one can view availability in train from some other station in between his journey so that one can book his ticket from that other station. This also help railways in sealing certain revenue leakages as TTC will not be able to sell such vacant seats.

1. To Reduce Ticket Window Rush , even normal shops be allowed to sell train tickets. 2. The Ticket Rates should be multiple of round numbers , so clerks will have ease to handle people in Rush line. 3. Introduce Automatic Ticket Vending Machine, and Round Figure will motivate People to use the MAchines with peoper Change in their hands. 4. ATM and Debis Card Payments should work on Automatic Vending Machines. 5. Railways should Tie up such that Tickets can be bought in any legal shop.

Two BRAVE SISTERS from ROHTAK exposed how SPINELESS we AAM AADMI ARE and how TOOTHLESS, IMPOTENT our GOVERNANCE system is that could not impose CANNING as an EFFECTIVE DETERRENT mechanism to protect our mothers/sisters/wives even after 67Yrs of Independence while SINGAPORE under LKY regime proved how CANNING can act as a DETERRENT to all such HEINOUS CRIMES that NO HARSHER punishment can achieve: READ BLOG: http://rationale-jay.blogspot.in/2014/12/two-brave-sisters-from-rohtak-exposed.html

Using mobile number like an ID proof would be a good idea too in my opinion, because every citizen may or may no have an ID Proof, but what they have is a mobile. While booking passenger have to provide a mobile number. & Our Indian Railways should make a miss call number, where if that passenger gave a miss call, he get all the details,PNR status etc by a reply sms. But yes, ther r few ppl who wil need a lil assistance in getting used to this type of sys. A Campaign would be required to educate

For efficient ticketing system. I believe we should implement 'Tatkal Type' system even for normal train ticket booking. Idea is to use some unique number which could be verified by the TTE during the trip, this could be any identity proof unique number or mobile number too could be clubbed with passenger details. It would be hard for bad agents to book many tickets on fraud id's that way.

I have two pints: 1. Sell tickets through current ATM machines and central electricity payment and water bill payment centers. For transparency it has to be automated. 2. Advertisements on railway tickets can be marketed better and can add significant revenue to railway and might cover ticketing related expenses.
