Getting Train status as a SMS will be very helpful. Before 10 Hrs of journey, there should be an SMS sent to passenger regarding the Train status. It will help in reducing extra rush at the station also passenger will reach only at the scheduled timing instead of waiting for hours on the station. Genrally it happens passenger dont remeber their train number to enquire from Enquiry. Sending this Alert to all passanger on the day of journey will be really helpful.

Dear Sir, Ticketing system of railways should be linked to Adhar database so that fake tickets booked by middleman can be stopped and all refund due to cancellation should be credited to bank account linked with Adhar card. All passenger details should be populated on screen from Adhar database so that there is no mismatch of name and photo of passenger, as during voting voter list have photograph also train ticket can also be printed with passenger photograph to verify during travel.

One new thing can be added to the mobile app is choice of Food as the food being provided in our railway are pathetic so during booking passenger should have option to choose the food they would like to have while travelling which would be checked by the authorities and would be hygenic also. One more option for feedback regarding corruption and cleanness maintained in train should be provided in the app.

For suburban trains mobile pass facility should be made. In today's world every person has mobile phone, app should be developed from which the passenger can buy their pass by paying online for it. so that the soft copy of it will always be there with the passenger.

People who book ticket online are making the task of government and for them easier because of the transparency it has. Then why a service charge is charged by the government? People booking tickets online have to pay railway service tax which is not uniform and higher for the 3-AC and also service tax by the bank. There should be a IRCTC wallet in which user can add money and he does not has to pay service tax.

Tickets are never examined in general coaches...they should be...many people travel without ticket which helps in the economic loss of Indian railways

Tickets for general coaches should be limited.....if this is not possible then number of general coaches in all express as well as super fast trains should be increased....
