Man is a social animal who can express emotions and show compassion which is made possible by our evolved mental faculties. Nature has been kind and empowered us to be protectors of the Wildlife and Environment. It is important to treat animals well because:
a) Nurturing animals develop values like empathy, compassion, loyalty and sense of service towards wildlife and society at large.
b) Animals ensure optimal populations across ecological levels and foster ecological and environmental stability.
c) Killing of animals for meat increases methane emissions and climate change.
d) Reduces human-wildlife conflict and ensures sustainable coexistence.
e) Though animals feel pain and pleasure, they are unable to express their feelings in an intelligible manner and requires human assistance.
We extract milk from cows and buffaloes not accounting for feeding needs of calves. We need to reflect on pain we feel, if humans are subjected to similar punishment and deny our children nourishment.

Both animals and humans are treated equally under god.It means we are to be treated equally the same to the animals
But these days it is highly important to save and protect everything that we look around
We came to know the importance of ecosystem
By this mission i feel every animal will be safely lived by protecting each other
No harm by being calm
Treating animals kindly should be one of the rituals that every household should follow
Treat animals like how you want to be treated in the society.

Animal welfare is important because there are so many animals around the world suffering from being used for entertainment, food, medicine, fashion, scientific advancement, and as exotic pets. Every animal deserves to have a good life where they enjoy the benefits of the Five Domains.

Among many reasons to treat animals well, the first and the most important one will be that, even animals have feelings. Animals just like humans ,inspite of them lacking the 6 th sense, feel the urge to be treated with love and affection no matter they are pets or wild animals. We humans come under the category of animals...being superior to all animal species,it is the duty of us humans to protect them and treat them with love. There is a saying from Amish's Ram Chandra series that It is the duty of the strong to protect the weak. "Protection "not just means to safeguard but also treating with care and affection.
Let the habit of treating animals well start with us and our nation. Jai Hind!!

Earth is equal to all creatures who live on earth, if its a wild animal or pet, treat all of them as we treat human beings, animals decorate the earth, not only chetaahs, but we should care and love all animals from deep heart, like "Love is Life", love all animals and give them a good life.
