"The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated"
The famous quote by our Father of Nation helps to realise the importance of treating the animals well.
All animals have functional role in ecosystem.
The extinction of an animal species also results in the destruction of its habitat. Wild animals like Lion, Tiger, Lepord, Cheetah etc have their functional role in ecosystem as top carnovores. Like this other carnivores and herbivores have thier own key roles.
In order to maintain the ecological balance and preserve the best living resources we must protect our wildlife and other animal wealth.

Animals are not to be exploited for human purposes which are aquiring leather meat etc. They also form a chain in ecosystem as we humans do. Just because animals are not able to speak, it does not mean that they have to be treated cold heartedly. They are as important to us as a child. Other than humans using them for their own purpose they some also tend to suffer from deadly diseases like lumpy virus in cows. This must be stopped and us being humans must have the love for animals too.
