if Government want to connect whole india through Internet then it is necessary to provide training to all peoples of Internet. Without knowledge of Internet E-banking and mobile banking are worth.. i think at present approx 40% peoples of urban Areas can not surf Internet.

1st popularize low price smart phones; high speed internet in rural areas and bank branches in every 5 village cluster. 2. Than bank manager of every village cluster should teach internet and mobile banking to gram pradha and high worth business people of cluster village. 3. Than gram pradhan should be given target to open bank account of local traders and farmers. And teach them e and mobile banking. Best performer gram pradhan should b awarded cash incentive. This is a step by step process.

We should create more banks in rural areas and give every citizen access to netbanking and provide them with sufficient information on the benefits of e-banking on mobile such as opening FD, checking balance, transfer of money, etc. We have to educate them of the services they can avail through e-banking. Also it is essential that they have good internet connectivity in rural areas, broadband or 3g. Smartphones should be made even affordable for optimum use of e-banking services.

This is possible by adding bank a/c no. with mobile and IMEI number and finding a security mechanism to avoid forgery. Also, transaction mechanism should be so convenient that even an illiterate should be able to do it. I have a detailed thought on it, but don't know how to share in 500 cha

Banks which offer customer friendly e- banking services are hdfc, Citi, icici etc, but in our village have sindicate, corporation & Canada banks. Though these banks are having e banking service, they are not properly promoting that to customers. These good old traditional banks are consuming lot s of time of citizens for simple transactions. It would be better if government can ask these small scale banks to give importance to e banking.
