Beside all computer teaching facility, I think, first internet facilities should be maintained properly in rural areas. I have seen many rural areas, there network facility is not maintained. We can't even talk on phone there. So firstly we should provide good internet connectivity in rural areas with minimum cost so that it is affordable by common man.

For e-services to rural India first of all Digital Infrastructure may be developed, like Internet connectivity to every village, mobile tower to every village. It has been seen that there are very weak mobile signal in most of the rural area. These things should be taken care to digitisation to rural India.

i also think we must enable a system where all can buy directly from farmers through internet.if transportation, storage and quality control of food products is outsourced in a large scale(something like flipkart),it is entirely possible for a normal citizen to buy from farmers directly thus benefitting both the buyer and the farmer.

following up from my previous post..we need to develop a device which can act as a reciever and transmitter(producer) of signals..this device if attached to computer or mobile will act as the signal transmitter and then we can have a chain of signal recievers and transmitters.we must also encourage individuals to use such means and others such as mobile and home wifi to become transmitter of signals.the recievers must in turn pay money to the individuals and finally original producer(eg.BSNL).

for internet to reach rural services..it would be great if we take a look at internet.org ideas like balloons and aeroplanes and other means they tried to adopt.also,i was just thinking...why cant we use mobile phone itself to send signal from one mobile phone to another..with the right components inside the mobile...ie mobile acting as both the signal reciever and signal producer..thanks to india's population..we can have one more source of signal apart from the towers and other sources.

So much news articles on Call Drops but Govt helpless. One area not explored yet is Radiation limit which determines Signal Strength.India is allowing only 1/10 of European Countries without any basis. This could be one UNEXPLORED REASON for rise in Call Drops. If Europeans who are so health conscious allow more radiation then why not India. If less radiation allowed then signal strength will be weaker,so Telcos forced to reduce SIGNAL OUTPUT of Transmitters. If true, then Govt should do something.

Sir,It will be great idea and we will make it using various service..like farmers we can make the mobile application that will provide the all information regarding the weather forecasting and all the Govt. plans for farmers..Like e-banking we can make e-panchayat application for rural villages .That will help to that people connected with various activity and various Govt. plans because every one can use the smart phone now and it will helpful for all.

Awareness needs to be there among the people for which all public-goverment interaction platforms to be computerised including govt. and aided schools. eliminate interference of govt. officials with the public (which is actually the root cause of corruption). Help Centers to be introduced at village level, and should be used to connect people with govt departments through these help Centers electronically. This will help increasing awareness and minimise corruption at the grass root level.
