How about easy access to consumer forum ... such as when I see a store selling products for more than MRP, I should be able to upload the image of product MRP & the billed amount by the merchant ? I know of many stores that sell essential goods such as milk adding Re.1 for every half litre pack. Several stores selling expired goods by taking advantage of unaware consumers. These are petty examples I cited ... there is a huge list - all over, every day every citizen suffers. hoping for ACHCHE DIN

Though website is their still GOI can channelise the complaint through Whats APP, Hike and Facebook as its reachable to a large. Suppose GOI has a whats app number and I just post the pic in that forum and then the concerned person from GOI will do the needful. Like in America we had a experience once we took a cake and after eating the same I fell ill and when a nearby Policemen saw me he came and helped me and took the remainder cake with bill afgetr few days I was compensated by the Company.

citizens should log in to "Jago grahak website" to lodge complaints or call toll free national consumer helpline 1800-11-4000 or send sms to 8130009809. Citizens can call state consumer helpline. Department of consumers affairs must monitor the nature of complaints and give feedback to complainant.

Strict actions are required to stop misleading ads. Ads for liqour still running with the name of water or soda or cds. It is but obvious but still no efforts to stop that. Stricter rules should be framed. Cola ads which is equally harmful are running every day and night.
Baba and Jyotish ads are actually bad for Hindu Religion. Stronger action required. Sensor board should not allow such ads. It is a clear cut mockery of government.

I suggest that the Govt should ban the use of "UPTO" in adverstisements. This misleads the consumer. For example: The advertisement states in bold letters "Discounts upto 60%".The customer is misled to think there is 60% discounts on offer for all items.
"UPTO 60% DISCOUNTS" means the discuount can be anywhere between 0% and 60%. My question is that is that fair marketing?????? Absolutley not. So let the Govt disallow the use of word "UPTO". Let it promote the word "Minimum xx% discount"

Citizens or consumers should demand for a platform specially in malls for grading or star rating system to products quality according to there experiences.
It will help in reducing promoting unreal facts about products through advertisements.

START POLICY BOARD SYSTEM ...There are various ADVERTISES FROM THE GOVERNMENT WHICH DOES NOT REACH TO COMMON PEOPLE BCOZ OF LACK OF COMMUNICATION ,AND SOME FAKE ADS SAID TO BE SEND FROM GOVT MISGUIDE PUBLIC,THEREFORE POLICY BOARD SYSTEM ON EVERY GOVT OFFICES,MUNCIPALITIES OFFICE,POLICE STATIONS,IT WILL BECOME A CHEAP AND GENERAL MEANS FOR ACTUAL COMMUNICATION AND I THINK THERE IS NO NEED FOR ANY SPECIFIC FUND FOR THIS SYSTEM,HERE WE CAN GET ALL POLICIES OF GOVT AT ONE PLACE EAISLY.

There are government certification agencies that certify the product quality. The same certification authority should certify the Advertisement of the product that what they are broadcasting to the public is in accordance to what they certified.
