To encourage JAN BHAGIDARI and to make the procedure of budget formation transparent, the Union Ministry of Finance has decided to invite suggestions for Union Budget 2017-18. As you may recall, this has been a regular feature on MyGov for the last two years.

Citizen from all walks of life are welcome to be a part of the budget making process. You can submit your suggestions either directly in the comments box or attach a PDF document.

Last year we had an overwhelming response with over 40,000+ suggestions for Union/ Railway budget. Several of the suggestions received on MyGov were incorporated in the last year’s budget. To know more about these, click here.

We seek your valuable ideas to continue the tradition of the Union Budget incorporating the citizens’ aspirations. The last date for submissions on this forum is 20th January, 2017.

The salary dates of almost all govt. and private organizations in India are in the first 10 days of each month. Most of the financial transactions take place in the first 10 days. This causes lot of work load on the banks and all the financial institutes in first 10 days as compared to rest of the days of the month. So, to balance out and distribute the work load throughout the month, the salary dates of some of the large govt or private organizations can be adjusted to last 10-15 of months.

1. Road vehicle tax scheme needs to be changed. At present we need to pay road tax to the state govt when we buy a new vehicle. However people move from state to state for different reasons (job, family, transfer). In the process, we require to pay new road tax to the new state. There should be a waiver of road tax (in the new state) in these scenario, or a refund from the original state.

To promote agriculture central government has to take initiation to establish large scale farming by procuring land to an extent of 2000acres on land lease base from farming community.eligible and interested to work in farming from that land owned community to be recruited to involve in agriculture activities.remaining required manpower has to be recruited from rural unemployed youth. according to our respectable prime minister,we deffinetly stop village population to migrate to cities in search of jobs and to settle. by implimenting aawas yojana in villages,opening skill centers in villages.create public park with children play area ,well equiped with scientific and gymnastic playing things.it is easy to make village populatio and villages to think smart and to become smart villages,it can be included in budget 2017.thank you

Recently some currency notes of Rs 20 & 50 are observed in circulation at Mumbai on which certain security features are not observed like- Latent Image, Identification mark, See through Register having 20 in flower. Setial no. are in increasing size of digits from left to right. Colour shade and paper texture are different than 2015 notes. Print year is 2016, bearing sign of Raghuram G Rajan.
