Suggestions Invited for Monthly themes to be taken as part of the celebration of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi

As a run up to the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, citizens will be encouraged to take up creative activities each month. Every month a theme would be taken up until October 2, 2020 from October 2, 2018 onwards. Mahatma Gandhi in his seminal book, Constructive Programme Its Meaning and Place had talked about 18 constructive programmes. He had stressed that more programmes could be added as time passed. The 18 constructive programmes included: Communal Unity; Removal of Untouchability; Prohibition; Khadi; Village Industries; Village Sanitation ; Nai Talim or Basic Education; Adult Education; Women; Knowledge of Health and Hygiene; Provincial languages; National Language; Economic Equality; Kisans; Labour; Adivasis; Lepers ; Students.

By involving the above 18 themes in 18 months, six more months would be remaining.

Ideas are invited from the citizens on six more themes to be taken in six months. The ideas should be relevant for our contemporary society.

Those who submit the best themes could be given certificates

celebrate this 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi with poor, old and handicapped people. please do something for the children and handicapped people who all are going in different trains and begging. Some children selling newspapers and paper soap. They all are not getting any type of education. As we know that this is the only age where we can enjoy, play and learn but they all are not getting this type of life. so please donate food, clothes, books and toyes for them. Thank you!

We all know the journey of a fruit seed to become a tree full of fruits. Same way we should take all the necessary steps at primary level when the child starts growing. We find among the children some are well nourished, properly educated and taken care so that they achieve what they want to be. On the other hand there are children malnutritious, School dropouts or never gone to school. This diversity makes our society prone to addicted, substance user children or children in conflict with law.

आदरणीय पंतप्रधान श्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी आपल्या सरकारला सत्तेवर येऊन चार वर्षे झाली तरी महाराष्ट्रातील विना अनुदानित व अंशत अनुदानित शाळांना अनुदान मात्र मिळाले नाही. आम्ही पंधरा वर्षे आघाडी सरकारला कंटाळून आपणास निवडून दिले आहे. तरी उर्वरित कार्यकाळात प्रचलित नियमानुसार शंभर टक्के अनुदान द्यावे आणि आमचा वनवास संपून टाकावा अशी विनंती आहे.

sir I am primary teacher my appointment is before 1nov 2005 but I am not qualify for old pension sceame at same time z p school teachers are qualified for old sceame why this ? same work same pension rule .sir we have done many andolans for that we want justice

क्या अब आप वो करेंगे जिसके लिए आपको चुना गया था ? 4 साल बीत गए जिस पार्टी का अस्तित्व ही श्री राम पर टिका हुआ है फिर भी आप ने राम लला के दर्शन को क्यों नहीं किये ? अगर आप वहां जाने मैं असहज महसूस करते हैं तो एक भगवा गमछा ही भिजवा दिया होता । भारत में अनुमन हर व्यक्ति का दादा कांग्रेसी हुआ करते थे राम मंदिर का ताला भी उन्होंने ही खोला परंतु बाद में तुष्टिकरण क़े के कारण कांग्रेस नष्ट हो गई है । क्या आप भी तुष्टिकरण नहीं कर रहे हैं ? क्या नाथू की 70 सालों से रखी अस्थियां विसर्जित होंगी ?
