In an endeavour to address the inadequacies of capacity constraints and improve its modal share in total freight eco system of the country, Indian Railways has come up with Draft National Rail Plan.

A draft of long term strategic plan called the National Rail Plan has been developed to plan infrastructural capacity enhancement along with strategies to increase modal share of the Railways. The National Rail Plan will be a common platform for all future infrastructural, business and financial planning of the Railways. This plan is being circulated among various Ministries for their views now. Railways aim to finalise the Final plan by January 2021.

india is one of the world largest railway system,i would like to suggest some plans here i posted 1.we were failure to improve signwling system in railways. 2.R&D and providing training facilities all young indians who were intresting like israel model,israel policy is every citizen work has soldier. 3.developing ecofriendly systems like netherlands tramp model,those trains r available all the times to citizens and maintain safety measures.

Disabled & Old people must get lower seat even they get printed in ticket as middle or upper Add more compartment in crowd routes

Coastal Rail lines are missing HAve 4 railway for easy access- East west north south Make all lane electrified Don't allow private here Connect Andaman and Chennai through Railway, Srilanka-JAffna to Rameshwaram, India Railway route. Also plan rail route to reach near by countries( Pakistan, China, Nepal, Mynammar, Bangladesh, Thailand, Russia, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Afghanisthan, Kazakasthan. easily and for freight Railroute to Leh to Kanyakumari Put rail route and improve border

IMPROVE WIFI SERVICES IN RAILWAYS. PROPER CHECKING OF MINIMUM NEEDS TOILETS, SANITATION, SANITIZATION, CLEANING BOGIES MUST BE DONE IN REGULAR INTERVALS. TT'S MUST DO THEIR JOB PERFECTLY WITHOUT ARROGANCE. BY INSTALLING T.V'S IN LONG JOURNEY TRAINS. NO NEED OF PANTRY CAR IN TRAINS,INSTEAD OF THAT INTRODUCE E-CATERING WITH MENU DISPLAY IN BOGIES & ONLINE SO THAT PASSENGERS CAN ORDER THEIR FOOD OPTIONS, CAN BE DELIVERED IN UPCOMING STATIONS TO AVOID CONGESTION BY HAWKERS IN BOGIES.
