The customs should immediately ease the restrictions on the perishables' shipments for the international as well as domestic sectors, paving way for the much needed thrust to the growth and development of R&D, production, science and technology. Current situation is dragging the country away from it.

I always find Immigration officials at Mumbai airport very rude. I had even gone to the duty officer to complaint but he too said that he cannot do much. On my previous trip. Of 6 counters catering to my line had only 3 officers.. of which two got up suddenly and started chatting while only one was operational to manage over 50 people in line. This was heights of mismanagement. There is a need to have a touch screen feedback panel after passing out like in singapore plus time officials working

Simplufy the drawback scheme. Now that GST will be a implemented in 2017, high time that the current Duty Drawback scheme is replaced. Since GST enables input credit of all duties except Customs, Drawback should be provided as a percentage of the Customs Duty on the inputs based on a input output statement provided with an affidavit by the exporter. We can do away with all Licensing schemes under DGFT. Drawback can also be provided as credit that can be adjusted against GST payable to Govt.

The area of Interst is Aviation maintenance .. We as a country have lost consecutively a very huge potential in earnings and business opportunity to the tune of a few billion dollars due to the archaic and unreasonably high customs duty on aircraft spares rendering MRO's crippled. India already has An MRO Hyderabad strategically positioned to attract severe business from the Middle East and within Asia. If there could be a customs waiver or rebate in customs we can develop skill levels also.
