In an endeavor to promote & underline the importance of 'Action Plan for Introduction of Cheetah in India’, PM Narendra Modi in his Mann Ki Baat asked citizens for suggestions on the Names of the Cheetahs!

My suggestions for the names are as under, I have taken inspiration from the legendary mythological creatures: 1. Deavadatta 2. Gana (Attendants of shiva) 3. Kimpurusha (lion headed beings) 4. Navagunjara (Avatar of Lord Vishnu with 9 different heads of different creatures) 5. Dawon (Mount of Goddess Durga) 6. Kala (A ferocious being) 7. Pashupati (Lord of the animals) 8. Vamana
