In India, electricians, plumbers, carpenters who service households are all a part of an unorganised services sector. There are no certifications, no standard rates, no quality guarantees - overall a risky set up. The govt can launch certificate courses for these services where youngsters can train for such jobs without a college degree. It shd be made mandatory for homeowners / tenants to then use services of only these certified plumbers / electricians / carpenters and other technicians.

Please check state government policies in govt sector in every state in which you find more differences are there in states

for skill development, we will have to restructure our education system.. we donot want just literate people in our society but those ones who can really contribute in the development of the country.. skill development programmes are to be conducted at college level so that even if they dont get employment elsewhere so they still contribute by starting their own business or like..

Level of education at normal school and college education doesn't match to the standard of questions being asked in the entrance examination. Entrance or screening examination should be such that it checks the intelligence quotient of a child rather than being an elimination test.

A new education system should be created.I am a diploma student and I see a lots of defects in our education system.We r just learning many concepts but not applying any concept.Application of concept which we learn is very less not enough for us to stand in international competition.we just waste our time doing submissions.This time could be used to develop skills in our engineering branches.

Government should curb flourishing of coaching centers as it caters to the higher echelons of the society. This would certainly put the less fortunate at a disadvantage over their affluent peers.

Its good to hear when people say "Indians are knowledgeable" but then why is our country facing so much unemployment.the reasons that can be attributed to this is 1)Most knowledgeable persons drain their intelligence in the development of foreign companies 2)Many are still not confident that they can be employers employing thousands of people and stay being an employee of foreign firm.
