Sir, kindly make the gst payment on quarterly basis. As for monthly deposit of gst we have to make entire calculation , and if entire calculation is done then return can also be filled monthly. Thus there is indirectly no relief for small traders. Govt get only 5 % tax from these small traders, which can be easily realised on quarterly basis. This will increase compliance also. Also some composition dealers will opt for regular return.

My view is on Return Method. You provide that Small Taxpayers need to file quaterly returns and almost 93% assesse benefit from it. But it 93% file quaterly return than mismatch of invoices occurred for large taxpayer which deal with small taxpayer. So As a chartered Accountant my opinion allow all the assesses for quaterly returns and payments monthly by method suggested by you. All other things are perfect.

i think purchase detail should be allowed to file by taxpayer. If any mismatch regarding purchase detail it should be shown in mismatch detail in gst portal like DVAT site..

pls conduct raids at jewellery shops, medical stores, textiles . Impose penality.GST will increase .Develop a software for the public for each state to check the Gst tax they had paid with a back up of atleast one month. Now shop owners are collecting GST and making money without issuing bill. Its a serious matter.Govt and peoplevare losing too much money .
