India’s Handloom sector is a symbol of our glorious cultural heritage and is an important source of livelihood in the country.

The first National Handloom Day was held on 7th August 2015 by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. On this day, the handloom weaving community is honoured and their contribution to the socio-economic development of the country is highlighted, and the resolve to protect our handloom heritage and to empower the handloom weavers and workers with greater opportunities is reaffirmed.

Let us, together, ensure the sustainable development of the handloom sector by supporting our handloom weavers and workers for their exquisite craftsmanship.

As we approach National Handloom Day, we invite you to come forward & support the Handloom weavers/artists by sharing your photos or videos wearing or using Handloom products. The best pictures and videos will get featured at MyGov – the world’s biggest citizen engagement platform.

We all think that we should get a good life with a good wife, GOD give every one a good wife but when we stand for good life I would appreciate and give congratulation to those who are working in the sector of Handloom. A good life is like a weaving by which energy is created with a little bit portion of tension inside the brain of the head. कृषि कार्यों में ग्रोथ होनी चाहिए और नई नई प्रजातियों का होना जरूरी है जिसे कृषि में फसल की अच्छी उपज प्राप्त हो कृषि से ली गई उपज को बाजार में बेची जाती है जिससे जीडीपी में ग्रोथ होती है कृषि का एक महत्वपूर्ण स्थान माना गया है भारत एक कृषि प्रधान ने देश है जिसके अंतर्गत खेती ग्रामीण उद्योग वह कुटीर उद्योग आदि इसके अंतर्गत आते हैं जिससे कृषि कार्य में बहुत से फर्टिलाइजर नुकसान कर रहे हैं हमारी मातृभूमि को रसायनिक फर्टिलाइजर का कम यूज़ करें

मैं बालकिशन सिनसिनवार अध्यक्ष किसान मोर्चा भाजपा चाँदनी चौक जिला दिल्ली आज मुझे फेसबुक ने 20 घंटो के लिए बैन कर दिया है! वजह मैने उन दुष्ट लोगों के खिलाफ आवाज़ बुलन्द की थी जो हमारी बहन बेटियों को शादी के मंडप से उठाकर ले जाने की धमकी दे रहे थे ! क्या एक हिन्दू होने के नाते मैं अपने धर्म का पालन नही कर सकता !

On National Handloom day declare Khadi denim & khadi clothes as national youngsters clothes with the best modern colours our youngsters & middle aged enjoy. Being a tropical country cotton is the most suitable in most parts of the country. Jeans is supposed to be American workmen clothes & has been Worlds casual dress.Let handloom come in the same category with best choices. Technology has taken over with power looms.Let the hand made denim be trendy & youngsters choice.

Dear my beloved prime minister I really congrates you for taking decision to continue on handloom production in India. It’s really good to encourage peoples of India for swadeshi product. Secondly I suggest that make compulsory in school uniform of Khasi. It’s will be better to increase Khadi use in daily life.
