This pretty dupatta has kantha embroidery on it, which is prevalent in eastern India mainly West Bengal. It has many aesthetic values and handmade characters. It comes in multi colours and two colours. Mine is a multicolored one with vibrant attractive colours.

I am Antara, 10 year old girl from Pune flaunting my Parkar Polka dress.
Parkar Polka is a popular and traditional Maharashtrian dress for girls.
It is available in Khancholi fabric from Guledgudd,Karnataka. Characterised by its vivid colors and patterns, it is the most gorgeous festive dress made from handloom.

Kota Doria originated in erstwhile Mysore, the weave gained prominence when Rao Kishore Singh, a general in the Mughal Army brought the weavers to Rajasthan during Shahjahan’s reign. These weaver families then settled in Kaithun village of Kota district in Rajasthan and began weaving zari (real silver/gold coated wires) in square patterns (called Khat) with a combination of cotton and silk making it one of the finest open weave fabrics in India. It is also popularly known as Masuria Malmal.
