The theme of this year’s International Day of Yoga is “Yoga for humanity” – a theme both fitting and timely. Yoga is beneficial for people of all ages and incomes. It can be practiced anywhere, at any time, and by people of all countries and cultures. Yoga is a powerful tool for individuals, communities and countries to improve not only physical but also mental health, and to prevent and control noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) – one of the WHO South-East Asia Region’s eight Flagship Priorities. The four major NCDs – cardiovascular diseases, cancer, chronic respiratory diseases and diabetes – account for more than 80% of all premature NCD deaths, of which 85% occur in low- and middle-income countries, including in the Region. Schools, workplaces, civil society organizations and communities should consider incorporating yoga into daily activities, supporting each country’s mission to achieve a 15% relative reduction in physical inactivity by 2030 –

being a traditional identity of India let it be implemented in every school level institutions, including madrassas, missionary schools in India ,be it govt or private.Govt may also think of recruiting Yoga teachers in school to spread the usefullness of yoga among youth. It helps to focus on life goals, serve as inner motivation, keeps calmness & improves our power of observation &proper judgement.

YOGA... YOGA OPPORTUNITY for Great sAmarthya(Fitness in Sanskrit)... The only thing in this World everyone can Achieve irrespective of Age, Caste, Religion, Rich or Poor is YOGA... By doing daily YOGA since childhood will not only keep Everyone with Good Health and Away from Medicines.... once there's a Proverb... An Apple a Day keeps The Doctor Away... But now in this Present Generation... Daily YOGA not only keeps You Fit and Healthy but also Boost up Your Immunity to fight with latest viruses... YOGA not only keeps You Physically Fit but also Mentally Strong... As per Ancient Culture... many Rishis and Sadhus inculcate YOGA as their Part of Life so that they are Physically and Mentally Strong in All the Seasons and lived happily for more than Hundred Years without any Ailments... Earlier, Our Elderly People bless the youth saying "noorella aayushu" means Live Hundred Years happily... but now a days they are blessing like "seegrameva Kalyana praapthirastu" means get married soon. Many people suggest here to introduce yoga as one subject but it's not good compared to international standards. we can spare two hours in Saturday's for yoga classes in each n every school may give better outcome.
