Respected Sir A unique project is implemented at my village Chiroli, Tq Mul, Distt Chandrapur, Maharashtra which will irrigate 600 Hector Agricultural Land throughout the year. This is the first project in Maharashtra and even may be in India. The total cost of project is only 2.75 CR. Cost per Hector comes only 46000/Hector where as traditional Irrigation project cost more than 1.5Lacs. The project is to construct Bridge cum Dam. The existing Bridge on river converted into dam by fixing gates in Bridge. In June during mansoon we remove the Gates and fixed it in September after mansoon. 4 lac M3 water along the 4 km length of river water is stored. The stored water is lifted by 30 H P pumps run by 125 KVA Solar Power. The lifted water is stored in one of the existing 4 Irrigation Tanks. The overflow of this Tank is stored in another 3 Tanks.
