In the #MannKiBaat episode dated 29th July 2018, PM Narendra Modi recalled the contribution of Lokmanya Tilak in bringing together communities for "Sarvajanik" Ganesh Festival, which has now become one of the most popular festivities across the country. He also urged citizens to celebrate the festival with clay/eco-friendly idols as well as environment-friendly practices. Further, he invited citizens to share pictures and experiences of the eco-friendly celebrations on MyGov.

हमने अपने शासकीय प्राथमिक विद्यालय चिटौद, जिला- बालोद छत्तीसगढ़ में स्वयं बच्चों के द्वारा बनाये गए श्री गणेश जी की मिट्टी की मूर्ति की स्थापना अपने प्रतिभा मंच में कर रखी है | प्रतिदिन बच्चों के द्वारा आराधना विद्यालय में की जा रही है | आज शनिवारीय विशेष प्रार्थना सभा में सामूहिक रूप से 176 छात्र-छात्राओं ने सांगीतिक गायन करते हुए गणेश जी की आरती में सहभागिता की |

हमें गणपति बप्पा की पूजा अर्चना करते समय यह ध्यान रखना चाहिए कि कम से कम रगों का प्रयोग करें ताकि पर्यावरण दूषित ना हो।

"જૈવિક ખેતીની જાગૃતિ લાવતા ગજાનન" અશ્વિનીકુમાર રોડ ઉપર તાસની વાડીમાં ધર્મજ ગ્રુપ દ્વારા આયોજીત ગણેશોત્સવની થીમ જૈવિક ખેતી રાખવામાં આવી છે. લાલ માટીમાંથી બનાવાયેલી લંબોદરની પ્રતિમા સાથે ધર્મ અને પર્યાવરણના સિદ્ધાંતો સમજાવવામાં આવ્યા છે. પ્રતિમા એક કુંડામાં વિસર્જિત કરાયા બાદ તેમાંથી પ્રકૃતિ એટલે કે છોડનું સર્જન થશે. નિરોગી જીવન માટે જૈવિક ખેતી એક માત્ર માધ્યમ હોવાનો સંદેશ અહીંથી અપાય રહ્યો છે.

Leadership, political leaders are also ganapati and gananaik. Every action has equal and opposite reaction. Hence we should find similarities in leadership, eco-friendly leadership.

Today in globalizing 21 century this really challenge to get eco-friendly Ganesh Festival But the best solution is make Ganesha from vegitable fruit like banana as shown picture and we can make Eco-Friendly Ganesh Festival
