The Indian post has been subsidised with around 10000 crores. Considering the changed sceniros the common man hardly uses the subsidised postal services as 90% of this subsidy is being used by corporates by sending inland letters for their commercials gains, do we need to continue with this huge subsidy ? Can't the corporate services be charged higher so as not to loose the exchequers hard earned money for subsidy to the corporares ? A discussion on this would surely be welcome.
