India Science (www.indiascience.in) is an Internet-based science Over-The-Top (OTT) TV channel. It is an initiative of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt of India , implemented and managed by Vigyan Prasar (VP), an autonomous organisation of Department of Science and Technology. This 24x7 video platform is dedicated to science and technology knowledge dissemination, with a strong commitment to spreading scientific awareness especially with Indian perspectives, ethos and cultural milieu. The initiative is supported by National Council of Science and Technology Communication (NCSTC), DST.

Science and Technology are the main driving forces of the nation and fundamental to the progress and growth. But there is a distinct difference between “science” and “scientific”.

Before a liquid can burn it must be vaporized. This is the basic of fire science and this knowledge is basis of every science to extinguish fire

This vapour will then be raised to higher temperatures as it approaches the reaction zone of flame. The reaction zone is seen as a blue sheath around most of the flame and this where combustion process take place

First, would like to congratulate the DST for such a wonderful topic that is extremely relevant in today’s context especially for the youth of India. “Science”, is a logically proven truth that is universally accepted by all across the globe because it benefits people. Once the candle is lighted, some of the heat radiated from flame will melt the wax and hot liquid then climb wick by capillary action. This continuous flow of heat by radiation into liquid will raise its temperature and cause it to vaporize.

'Scientific' is the methodology to enhance those human senses for parameters beyond humans to perceive. Also scientific can be any experimental methodology incorporated to transform axiom or hypothesis into theory.

Science is the data spread throughout universe in all forms that can either be perceived through the permissible range of parameters which our 5 senses respond to, or which is beyond the perceive capacity of our senses. 'To perceive' is biological,& senses are of human body(human/anthropos is the ultimate intervening species of universe, to enquire science)virtue of which all the data and consequent information is analysed, empirically verified & relation of theory and experiment is established
