In the eve of skill India launch one feedback to the concern authorities - if we are serious on this mission the NSDC guidelines on appointing training partners should be practical, small players who are qualified enough and can contribute should be allowed to join this mission. I train students from financially backward families on employability skills, office is situated in Mumbai. My application for TP got rejected saying I do not enough space ie 2000sq feet in the same premises.

The coal blocks cancelled by Govt. was a good step as it is an asset but at the same time if coal mines will not be allotted on priority then in coming months it will lead to huge unemployment. Many IPPs have starting cutting jobs as they are ready for production but due to non availability of coal mines.

SMEs and MSMEs are the biggest employment generators and they should be encouraged to keep this status. as this sector produces goods and services to help large production and corporate houses. its should be a policy to give 1. ease of finance, 2. ease of knowledge sharing, 3. goods and materials procurement, 4. vocational skills development and higher studies for knowledge up gradation, 5. incentives to create more entrepreneurs via knowledge & skills sharing and training.

This would make our country a better place to live in more so with dignity and respect keeping the hygiene aspect in mind. Children are most affected in such type of environments. Hence this should stop.

I am very happy that Govt have taken the initiative to start SWACH BHARAT abhiyan. I always thought why we are spitting/throwing garbage etc on the roads openly but when we are going to any foreign country then we can’t do so. This is because there is a heavy penalty & punishment on doing so. I sincerely feel this should be done in India too maybe with certain locations/areas [as done with no smoking zone etc.] and then spread the ban to wider areas.

With the help of Digital technology (or database/job-portal), the direct channelling of the SMEs and the job seekers can be made. Job seekers can provide their skill-set & areas-of-interest. And the SMEs should be able to search them (may be by region too). This way SMEs can get right candidates as they will be already interested in their area of expertise. And as job seekers get their loving jobs, they will be more innovative and productive. This way it will be win-win situation for both.
