In the past three years, the Government has endeavoured to remove corruption in every form and technology presents itself as one of the most potent tools. But, technological interventions work when the interventions are simple, transparent and include a public feedback mechanism. Utilising advancements in technology, the Government is following a multi-pronged strategy to tackle the problem in an effective manner

1. Transferring benefits directly to beneficiaries
2. Making government procurements transparent
3. Digitization of service deliveries
4. Promoting Cashless Transactions
5. Jan Bhagidari
6. Open Government Data

Direct Benefit Transfer was a significant step towards plugging leakages. Amount transferred via DBT is increasing and leakages are reducing. The government has laid equal emphasis on citizens getting Aadhaar. The Jan Dhan-Aadhaar-Mobile (JAM) trinity will bring complete accountability in monetary transactions and eliminate ghost beneficiaries.

Additionally, Government e-Marketplace (GeM) was launched to make government procurements simple and transparent, eliminating any scope of corruption. Faceless e-assessment for income tax payers introduced from 2018 was another important step. Tax officers now communicate with the taxpayers through the ‘E-Proceeding' facility which reduces human interface.

The fight against corruption is a long and arduous one. Various online platforms have been introduced by the government, wherein the citizens can join forces with them by sharing their feedback and views. The decision to involve the honest citizens of our country in the fight increases the strength of the force against corruption to a great extent.

In the same vein, MyGov invites citizens to share their ideas on how technology can be used to uproot corruption and suggest innovations to fight the malice in an effective manner. Ideas and suggestions can be provided in the form of a comment below or by attaching a PDF document.

Introduce an integrated business management system which issue a unique aadhaar-like ID for every company- feom Tata to the roadside vendor. There should be a single-window system in it by which the businessmen can apply for every kind of licenses like fssai, gst,d&o,fire and safety dep., electricity connection, and bank loans. All these must be given through this system only. This will improve the ease of doing business and eliminate the corrupted practices for obtaining these documents.

I ALSO WOULD LIKE TP SUGGEST 3 MATTERS WHICH MAY REDUCE CORRUPTION. 1. LINK WILL OF EACH CITIZENS WITH THEIR ADHAR. Many corruption has been observed with our legal system Matters. The most of the master are related to property matter. If actual owner of property link his or her will then we can stop some amount of corruption due to legal matters in court. We can reduce problem which can generate Seed for corruption.

Dear Modiji, PUC is compulsory for all vehicles in India. But it is observed that 100% PUC centers issue the PUC card without testing the carbon emission. I thought, PUC centers are established only for corruption purpose. Please take immediate action to stop this corruption in thousands of crores. It's only you in this country who can make the change. We are with you in the battle for corruption free INDIA.

Though My Gov give the citizens the facility to track the personal funds used by MP at central level and equivalent on state level. Most of time funds get vanish in between to reach at intended purpose due to corruption. Even many times people representative don't use all funds available. If used then never reach to intended purpose. This suggestion, will reduce not only corruption, but also increase responsibility of people and their representatives.Security tip:Fingerprint recognition.

Hi, As my fellow citizens have a thought over this, I too have. You may even had such views from many others. 1. If the mobile charges are available for much lower rentals why so much allowance for telephone charges? 2. If the inflation is going down why the public servant's salary hiked while the public receive less? In spite of other allowances like free medicine, travel,..
