In the past three years, the Government has endeavoured to remove corruption in every form and technology presents itself as one of the most potent tools. But, technological interventions work when the interventions are simple, transparent and include a public feedback mechanism. Utilising advancements in technology, the Government is following a multi-pronged strategy to tackle the problem in an effective manner

1. Transferring benefits directly to beneficiaries
2. Making government procurements transparent
3. Digitization of service deliveries
4. Promoting Cashless Transactions
5. Jan Bhagidari
6. Open Government Data

Direct Benefit Transfer was a significant step towards plugging leakages. Amount transferred via DBT is increasing and leakages are reducing. The government has laid equal emphasis on citizens getting Aadhaar. The Jan Dhan-Aadhaar-Mobile (JAM) trinity will bring complete accountability in monetary transactions and eliminate ghost beneficiaries.

Additionally, Government e-Marketplace (GeM) was launched to make government procurements simple and transparent, eliminating any scope of corruption. Faceless e-assessment for income tax payers introduced from 2018 was another important step. Tax officers now communicate with the taxpayers through the ‘E-Proceeding' facility which reduces human interface.

The fight against corruption is a long and arduous one. Various online platforms have been introduced by the government, wherein the citizens can join forces with them by sharing their feedback and views. The decision to involve the honest citizens of our country in the fight increases the strength of the force against corruption to a great extent.

In the same vein, MyGov invites citizens to share their ideas on how technology can be used to uproot corruption and suggest innovations to fight the malice in an effective manner. Ideas and suggestions can be provided in the form of a comment below or by attaching a PDF document.

Hello, I have seen a post being circulating in Social Media about the telephone allowance given to MPs. Today the call rates are free. Can we stop this telephone allowance. Can we have an online yearly appraisal system for MPs and MLAs. Yearly the MPs and MLAs will submit the work profile, job completed, the budget details and allocation and made this as public. Please make this as law so that future govt. will have the mandate. Thanks PD

Two reason of corruption : 1) for Time Saving due to red tap system 2) In lieu of Illegal work. Corruption for reason no.1 can easily be removed by removing manual interference by adopting online procedures at all public dealing working. All routine work should be done online and there will be no connect relation between service provide and public. All service including applying for utility connection, approval for house, payment of bills, traffic and other challans should be processed online.

Ask all individuals, not just tax payers, to declare "cash in hand", like mentioned in the audited balance sheet of companies. This will stop proxy possession of cash by individuals who fall within IT exemption limit.

Remove Quota System and SC/ST for those who come from salaried family. Do not give anything for Free. Track the messages (Text/Voice related to work) of all the Government employees on real time and publish then on government website. Link Aadhar to Voter ID and send a sms after to registered mobile user after voting is done successfully.

4. or as taxpayers money through government bailout. Depositors are approaching banks to open Recurring Deposits and Banker are invested in MF without consulting their risk profile just to achieve their targets. These are some example which make our system corrupt not only with illegal commitments but also commitment as per banking regulations. Banks are corrupted to earn commission as agent on stake of public money as loans amount. Save Public Money from Banking System.

3. Banking system are collapsing due to cross selling of products by branch head. To achieve target he is compelling credit person to sell insurance/mf/gold to borrowers and borrower has invested under the influence of credit manager to clear his file of loans which ultimate create a corrput system under banking by bank itself. To earn some commission on sale of Insurance policy, bankers are kept full money of loan under stake. All money in banking system of general public either as depositors

Its my suggestions, banking system/braches of each bank is require to divide in four categories i.e. Deposit and Other Banking Services(Normal banking for General Public e..g. Saving A/c, Current A/c, RTGS, NEFT, DD, Locker etc), Loan and Credit Services(Business Loans, Housing Loans, L/c, LOU etc.) and for Social Services(Jan Dhan Account, Adhaar Linking), Marketing Services(Sale of Insurance, MF, Gold etc.) There should not be co-working of either of two services.

Recent banking system has been badly effected due to so many reasons. Bankers are in pressures for banking and non-banking jobs. In a Branch of PSB Branch Manager are doing a job of banker, public relation officer, marketing person, credit manager, social worker but unable to fullfill his responsibilities due to so many factors of banking system. In absence of the same and due to corrupt system many persons are able to dodge the banking system as we seen in case of demotisation and Nirav Modi.
