In the past three years, the Government has endeavoured to remove corruption in every form and technology presents itself as one of the most potent tools. But, technological interventions work when the interventions are simple, transparent and include a public feedback mechanism. Utilising advancements in technology, the Government is following a multi-pronged strategy to tackle the problem in an effective manner

1. Transferring benefits directly to beneficiaries
2. Making government procurements transparent
3. Digitization of service deliveries
4. Promoting Cashless Transactions
5. Jan Bhagidari
6. Open Government Data

Direct Benefit Transfer was a significant step towards plugging leakages. Amount transferred via DBT is increasing and leakages are reducing. The government has laid equal emphasis on citizens getting Aadhaar. The Jan Dhan-Aadhaar-Mobile (JAM) trinity will bring complete accountability in monetary transactions and eliminate ghost beneficiaries.

Additionally, Government e-Marketplace (GeM) was launched to make government procurements simple and transparent, eliminating any scope of corruption. Faceless e-assessment for income tax payers introduced from 2018 was another important step. Tax officers now communicate with the taxpayers through the ‘E-Proceeding' facility which reduces human interface.

The fight against corruption is a long and arduous one. Various online platforms have been introduced by the government, wherein the citizens can join forces with them by sharing their feedback and views. The decision to involve the honest citizens of our country in the fight increases the strength of the force against corruption to a great extent.

In the same vein, MyGov invites citizens to share their ideas on how technology can be used to uproot corruption and suggest innovations to fight the malice in an effective manner. Ideas and suggestions can be provided in the form of a comment below or by attaching a PDF document.

I would like to share that government should provide telephone booth with cameras where they have the location tracking service too... Any one wants to share their problem can directly contact to the government without much delay.... And the main thing their problem should be solved within 24hours... Therefore govt. Can make a huge difference as compared to earlier govt. Although government is doing a great job but some loopholes must be covered with transparent communication.

"Nothing is perfect in the imperfect world." 1-Technology for swach bharat movement - Line follower robot has always been made by hobbyist and here I have idea for making a line follower dustbin with vacuum cleaner a fully automated project idea of mine that can been used in railway station, hospitals and other public places to collect garbage from all the still ignorant lazy people. 2- Fully automated traffic control with barriers -It will eliminate the traffic congestion and corruption.

Can I know where is this views being taken. Is there any contact number to whom I can speak to. Our numbers for CVC and others are not working. UIDAI has given Aadhar cards to 80% of the indian population but whether they are all functional. Are they all attached to mobile numbers and mail-ids. I have seen the aadhar cards issued by Tamil nadu in 1st phase has not added the mobile phones. Now we are going pillar to post to add them.

Reducing Corruption through technology is highly impossible because corruption's not a technological problem but it is the problem of people's mentality, morality and good conduct. What can technology do to improve the mentality?...Technology can however be utilised to kill the corrupts on fast track basis... electrocute the corrupts ..mostly the netas, babus, middlemen, mafias...who are involved in large-scale corruption, problem will be solved!
