In the past three years, the Government has endeavoured to remove corruption in every form and technology presents itself as one of the most potent tools. But, technological interventions work when the interventions are simple, transparent and include a public feedback mechanism. Utilising advancements in technology, the Government is following a multi-pronged strategy to tackle the problem in an effective manner

1. Transferring benefits directly to beneficiaries
2. Making government procurements transparent
3. Digitization of service deliveries
4. Promoting Cashless Transactions
5. Jan Bhagidari
6. Open Government Data

Direct Benefit Transfer was a significant step towards plugging leakages. Amount transferred via DBT is increasing and leakages are reducing. The government has laid equal emphasis on citizens getting Aadhaar. The Jan Dhan-Aadhaar-Mobile (JAM) trinity will bring complete accountability in monetary transactions and eliminate ghost beneficiaries.

Additionally, Government e-Marketplace (GeM) was launched to make government procurements simple and transparent, eliminating any scope of corruption. Faceless e-assessment for income tax payers introduced from 2018 was another important step. Tax officers now communicate with the taxpayers through the ‘E-Proceeding' facility which reduces human interface.

The fight against corruption is a long and arduous one. Various online platforms have been introduced by the government, wherein the citizens can join forces with them by sharing their feedback and views. The decision to involve the honest citizens of our country in the fight increases the strength of the force against corruption to a great extent.

In the same vein, MyGov invites citizens to share their ideas on how technology can be used to uproot corruption and suggest innovations to fight the malice in an effective manner. Ideas and suggestions can be provided in the form of a comment below or by attaching a PDF document.

I suggest, every citizen should be given Rs 1.00 Crore in their Account, this will result in 1. bringing out official Accounts of every person 2. spends of this money to be tracked 3. no problem of poverty 4. rather then bankrupt people duping banks and taking away money, money will be used for citizens of country 5. tax payers to be eligible for lucky draw at the end of Fin. year that too who files ITR by June of every year This thought could be further explored in several ways!!!

If government is really serious about that then- There must be strict laws for corrupt people. For example- lifetime or 20 years imprisonment (without any loop hole). This will end up almost 80% corruption in one week. Now, how to identify the corrupt people- just need to ask banks at first to collect the data where people are withdrawing too much cash or depositing too much cash on regular basis. Investigate the same.keep track on Police accounts too.

You cannot really eradicate corruption until you have severe punishment for lying and cheating. People are getting away with blatant lying. Legislation increasing the level of punishment drastically to 10 years or more, life threatening arbiteration (food adulteration) to life sentence (since adulteration drastically puts life at risk) etc need to be done if we have to rescue this country.

Need to focus on marketing strategies like election camping. Public is currept ... and the system which should stop stop it are most corrupted departments. If we focus on specific thoughts in advertisement we can see the change. People wants to change, we feel it nowadays, need to give a gentle push. There should be some complain system, respected person also can see the number of complaints against him. People can share videos on that platform. Each department can compete with each other.

SET FAST TRACK VIGILANCE TEAM WHO REACT WITH RAPID ACTION FORCE TO RESPOND TO THE COMPLAINTS FILED BY CITIZENS IN MICRO LEVEL WITHOUT RESTRICTIONS WHETHER IT IS STATE EMPLOY OR CENTRAL.IT COMPLETES THE COMPLAINT WITHIN THE SHORT TIMELIMIT. WHEN THIS TYPE OF OBSERVATION DEVELOPED, IMPROVE ACCOUNTABILITY IN EMPLOYEES AND DO THEIR DUTIES WITHOUT ANY CORRUPTION. BY AND ALL, THE MEANING OF "CORRUPTION" MUST WIDER AND DEEPER. BECAUSE REDTAPISM IS ALSO IS ONE TYPE OF CORRUPTION.
