In the past three years, the Government has endeavoured to remove corruption in every form and technology presents itself as one of the most potent tools. But, technological interventions work when the interventions are simple, transparent and include a public feedback mechanism. Utilising advancements in technology, the Government is following a multi-pronged strategy to tackle the problem in an effective manner

1. Transferring benefits directly to beneficiaries
2. Making government procurements transparent
3. Digitization of service deliveries
4. Promoting Cashless Transactions
5. Jan Bhagidari
6. Open Government Data

Direct Benefit Transfer was a significant step towards plugging leakages. Amount transferred via DBT is increasing and leakages are reducing. The government has laid equal emphasis on citizens getting Aadhaar. The Jan Dhan-Aadhaar-Mobile (JAM) trinity will bring complete accountability in monetary transactions and eliminate ghost beneficiaries.

Additionally, Government e-Marketplace (GeM) was launched to make government procurements simple and transparent, eliminating any scope of corruption. Faceless e-assessment for income tax payers introduced from 2018 was another important step. Tax officers now communicate with the taxpayers through the ‘E-Proceeding' facility which reduces human interface.

The fight against corruption is a long and arduous one. Various online platforms have been introduced by the government, wherein the citizens can join forces with them by sharing their feedback and views. The decision to involve the honest citizens of our country in the fight increases the strength of the force against corruption to a great extent.

In the same vein, MyGov invites citizens to share their ideas on how technology can be used to uproot corruption and suggest innovations to fight the malice in an effective manner. Ideas and suggestions can be provided in the form of a comment below or by attaching a PDF document.

Please create a MUST rule for Aadhar Number and It is mandatory to buy anything where specially. You have to create an app where all adhar card details are there. If somebody buys anything from the store or mall. They have to update the amount so this way. Your details will be saved and nobody can buy anything without adhar card. If they will, their details will be saved for whatsoeveer, Gold, Mobile, Car etc... Now -coming back to cash tranfers. that we cant control but at least.

No action is taken on Political Corruption. Unless the Political Corruption is rooted out, corruption can not be stopped. Most of the looters of the banks happened with the connivance of the Political collections. The way Vijay Mallaya and Nirav Modi left the Country only with the connivance of the Politicians. Unless election reforms are made the Political Corruption can not be eliminated. There is no exception to any party. It will be difficult to prove by people, who complain.

First trace the govt employees or politicians. I can develop a website, where at the end of the day each politician or govt employee need to fill their work done in whole day. It should be visible to citizens of country. This should be on daily basis. If some one fails to fill the details, then cut their salary. In this way we can trace then and see whether the work properly or not. I think this will make everyone a work lover.

firstly, call it as eliminating corruption and not reducing. 1. Banking services must reach each corner of the state. Complete Digitalization of banks must be done on war footing basis. 2. Political parties must be brought under RTI. 3. Only 10,20,50,100 notes and 1,2,5,10 coins must be market. all higher notes should be banned. 4. Real Time Governance centre like in Andhra Pradesh should be adopted in every state. 5. All govt services must go online.

To reduce corruption there should have fear of law and order among corrupted people and the best feasible way to do this is creating a live broadcast application through which a person or any victim can broadcast live to show the real proof that what is happening at that time and this broadcast is under nearest police incharge so that instant action will take place and such kind of application also helpful for safety purpose.

Corruption is not just taking bribe. As per first definition it states “dishonest or fraudulent conduct by those in power,”. I would like to highlight some of the things taking place in Indian Banks because of which we run into huge loss and most of the times unnoticed. By definition, if two persons connive in a bank, they can sell or empty the whole bank and bring the bank to bankruptcy.

The largest corruption a common citizen faces today is in traffic police department and revenue department. It is a state subject but still I want to highlight it. In South Korea, each individual's crime history is available in police database and one gets NOC based on that. Why cant we have such system here based on Adhaar number. For passport verification,it has become common to pay INR 1000 at police station. Police have become new age mafia.
