To achieve the target of no-deaths on account of mouth cancer, lung cancer (due to smoking), it will be quite appropriate to ban the production of Cigarettes in the country. At the same time, the workforce employed in Cigarette industry must be rehabilitated properly. Once, the tobacco is banned, the deaths on that account will drastically be reduced. Producing & Selling cigarettes with a simple warning "it is dangerous to smoke", has no any meaning in true terms & real spirit. Kindly think.

RESPECTED SIR CONCRETE DRAINAGES IN ALL PLACES AND ESPECIALLY BY THE SIDE OF NATIONAL/ EXPRESS HIGHWAYS ARE BECOMING NEW RESERVOIRS FOR MOSQUITOES . BECAUSE IN DUE COURSE MUD COLLECT IN THEM, WATER CANNOT DRAIN OR SINK INTO EARTH.ALL KNOW THIS AND JUST CLOSE THEIR EYES AND TALK LOUDLY ABOUT CONTROLLING VECTOR BORN DISEASES.BETTER TRY TO FIND SOME VACCINES BECAUSE OUR PEOPLE ARE NOT READY TO SPEND TIME TO DESTROY MOSQUITO BREEDING SITES EVEN THOUGH THEY KNOW THAT DISEASES MAY COST THEIR LIFE

RESPECTED SIR, THERE ARE MANY LAWS THAT MAKES WASTE HANDLING MANDATORY . BUT ACTUALLY THERE IS NO MECHANISM/ ARRANGEMENT BY ANY GOVT BODY TO HANDLE/TREAT WASTES . THIS IS MAKING ALL STRATEGIES TO FAIL.COMMON PEOPLE HAVE NO CHOICE TO DISPOSE HAZARDOUS MATERIALS EVEN THOUGH HE KNOWS IT IS NOT GOOD FOR ENVIRONMENT . THIS RESULTED IN FAILURE TO CONTROL HEALTH HAZARDS LIKE VECTOR BORN DISEASES

Todays railway budget is hopeless. If their is constraint of budget for new facilities, MoR should show his desire to improve train by implementation of rules strictly for cleanliness. Smokers, without ticket passengers and rail toilet users on station can be punished heavily and that way the standard can be improved. Starting FM channel for railway can be good initiative so that you can educate, inform and entertain the passengers and can increase earning by advertising.

Kind Attn:Shri Suresh Prabhu- May I suggest that in the event of Rail Accident it is difficult to reach the spot. State Governments should construct parallel road accessible to Railway Track so that emergency services can be reached to the spot as fast as possible. This should be the responsibility of respective State Govt where Railway Line passes.
