Many vector-borne diseases are transmitted by arthopods (mosquitoes, ticks, mites etc) and have prevalent in India namely malaria, dengue, chikungunya, filariasis and kala azar and these have become serious public health problems. National Programmes for prevention and control of these diseases have implemented and interventions at all levels, including community level, are being carried out. Through this platform Department of Health Research/Indian Council of Medical Research invites suggestions, views, best practices, innovative ideas to be tested through research to improve the strategies for better prevention, control and treatment of these vector-borne diseases.

I have sent a letter by speed post on 21/2/2015 and this was delivered on 24/2/2015 regarding trapping of mosquitoes alive in large scale and destroy them.I kindly request your good selves t have a look at my letter and reply me back for further action. in my new technology I do not use any power or chemicals or gas. hence my equipment can be installed at any place. hence please refer to my letter addressed to hon'ble PRIME MINISTER

vectors are also the part of ecosystem hence their elimination is unwanted.eliminating infections is required and for that awareness about signs and symptoms of vector-borne diseases among public is need of an hour to make them seek help in time.

Govts should reduce the expenditure from public exchequer on account of publicity. Huge amounts are being spent on the advertisements in print & electronic media. Further, the photo culture of the PM, CMs and MInisters should be avoided. They should admit that the expenditure on welfare schemes is from the public exchequer and not from their parties. Hence, such publicity is to be curtailed, to save the public exchequer. Money saved is money produced should be the concept for any Govt.
