Pravasi Bharatiya Divas has emerged as a wonderful forum to strengthen the bond between the diaspora and the people of India. It offers unlimited opportunities for India to gain from the skill and insight of the diaspora, who have been the pride of India across the world.

This forum seeks inputs on how to further sharpen the focus of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas for the overall development of India. Share your views on what more can be done to make the interaction between the NRIs and the Government more productive and impactful. How can India receive more investment not only from the diaspora but also from the world at large?

(Contd), I am Canadian citizen now and I have heard what people think about India. Where that all comes, it comes from people who visit and see dead bodies in river, people fighting, robing, thefts and most important, no action by Police. They should be treated as you treat a guest into your house. So my duty is I spread clean image for India and help people who are visiting India by connecting them to honest people I know. Its the change we bring to get more visitors and investment.

ok, this is not only for NRIs coming to India but also visitors from other countries. How can we give better image and WELCOME to everyone. People dont put your demands here, its for INDIA not for you. We need to change the first impression of India and make it best place to visit. Rules and law can be decided by the authorities but it should be pain to visit India for everyone. People in India wants to lure and rob foreigner, that should be stopped, including rape on foreign nationals (contd).

PBD is a great gesture but what will they see .The same dirty conditions,the same red tape ,the same cheating,the same corruption everywhere,the same dissatisfaction in the heart of their kith and kin living here.Not a day passes when there is no rape and years pass before a punishment is awarded to the criminal.My son is a US citizen but is afraid to see the same old conditions.I pray you give them hope and confidence in the Government. Rule of law is missing.Pray do not show them dreams.

A welcome idea.As part of PM's dream the focus should be more show case our culturally rich India.A home stay with full scope for displaying cultural richness.interaction of visiting guests with students group etc.Services of retired officers may be used for the purpose. Local village Pancayat and these nominated officers can work together in preparing the supporting documents.Full technology support and monetary arrangement should rest with SGov.Visit to nearest dist\taluka by the infra team gr

In some states there is tax on 4 wheel Tractor tollies due to which the farmers and others are using 2 wheel trllies.If we go for statistical data of accidents of 2 wheel trolley , these will be of great concern of us.my suggestion is that tax from 4 wheel trolley should be withdrawn so that accidents may be minimised. As regard to tax Govt will get addl tax on increased sale of tyres and other accessories .There may be of course some misuse by traders of this facility but looking to fatility it

The pravasis in the French West Indies were forgitten for the last t'en years. 2004 we celebrated th150th Anniversary of the arrival of the first indentured indian labourer from the five contours of India. Received énorme us support from the Bjp alliance then. We received à Gandhi statue and his busy on the Island of GuAdeloupe.

माननीय प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी यदि आप प्रवासी भारतीय महाशक्ति का उपयोगभारत के विकास मेँ करना चाहते हैं तो इस संसाधन का अधिकतम उपयोग करना चाहते हे तो इन सब को अधिक से अधिक शिक्षा के क्षेत्र मेँ प्रयुक्त करना सुनिश्चितकरें क्यूंकि शिक्षा ही एक ऐसा साधन है जिसके द्वारा देश का विकास हो सकता हे शिक्षा के द्वारा ही लोगोँ मेँ तर्क का विकास कर सकेंगे जब तक लोगोँ मेँ तर्क शक्ति का विकास नहीँ होगा लोग उचित सरकार का चयन नहीँ कर पाएंगेजब तक लोग अजीत सरकार कच्चे नहीँ करेंगे मेरा दावा देश कभी नहीँ
