The Policy on Collaborative Application development by Opening the source code of Applications intends to increase the pace of application development and rapid roll out/ implementation by adopting the principles of open-source development model. Government wants to promote reuse of existing developed applications. Successful running applications and new applications are envisaged to be developed within the public domain by opening the application source code and it is also intended to encourage innovation inside and outside Government by encouraging collaborative development to achieve better products in less time.

e-Gov application source open approach—including the use and release of application source to public—can reduce costs, reduce development time, and improve overall quality, including security through increased transparency and mass peer review.

I propose we move away from using physical files and memos within the government to modern IT tools - email, ERP, digital documents, etc. This will improve the speed at which things move internally, improve visibility and transparency and also long term archival. All of the IT needs can be met through a Private Govt. Cloud.

Sanskrit as third language in place of German in Kendriya Vidyalayas across India is a welcome step. Reports say that Germany is objecting to it and the matter Taken up by German Chancellor is taking up the matter with our respected PM. Germans find many similarities between Sanskrit and German and there can be no reason for objection. Our govt should stand firm in dealing this as internal one and our nation's pride is at stake. Sanskrit in schools will pave way for making it as National languag

As Google is tracking the users' interests, geographical location, it should not display incorrect map of India to the people accessing Indian states & Union territory from the Indian land mass. Please see the truncated map of India in the attached document, This squarely falls under misrepresentation under the Maps act, I don't think they could get away with it in China. Justice should not only be done, but should be seen to be delivered by all.

As we go Digital, the Nation would encounter a new problem if due attention is not paid right from the initial stage. The Problem would emanate from Electromagnetic Waves originating from. High Voltage Transformers and Cables in the high rising building Towers which not only cause high tech digital equipment like Servers to malfunction but are also source of health hazards like Tumours etc .Shielding of sources of Electromagnetic Waves such as High Voltage Transformers etc shd be made mandatory
