Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will share his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ with the farmers of India on 22nd March 2015.

The Prime Minister is very keen to interact with his farmer sisters and brothers across India and would also like to hear their thoughts, ideas and insights on a wide range of issues relating to agriculture. He has requested farmers across India to write to him and send letters to ‘Mann Ki Baat, Akashvani, Sansad Marg, Delhi – 110001’. Some farmers can ask the Prime Minister their question directly during the episode.

MyGov also gives you all this wonderful opportunity to contribute through ideas and inputs for the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ episode with India’s hardworking farmers.

The PM has repeatedly said that India cannot progress until the farmers of the Nation progress and has assured that the Centre will leave no stone unturned in ensuring the agricultural progress of India.

Sir, u r carrying very huge expectations of the people. After 10 months time people haven't seen something very encouraging. A/with long term take something shot term also. Try to link farmers directly with market by removing middlemen. It can be thru co-op marketing by farmers. 2nd way is to shift big part of subsidy from big corporates to small farmers. 3rd is any govt's will power to reach the benefit to common person.

You've argued that the farmers (more correctly land-owners)may/ may not give consent for providing the land & you gave good examples; but in my view, those situations may occur in few cases;mostly the land owners can be convinced by the provision of heavy compensation and by explaining the use/necessity of the project for which their land on required. we must try for getting consent of just simple majority of land-owners.

Sir, All the programs in aid of farmers need implentation. Some mechanism has to be developed by which the state goverments are made accountable for implementation of the programs so that the benefits are not lost out amidst political fights and agendas.

Dear pm, I appreciate the right step taken by you by talking directly with the people via maan ki beat. To improve our farmers condition we have to improve the agriculture farming methods.we will have to do farming scientifically.we will have provide the farmers ultra modern farming equipment. also we have to provide them water by connecting all our rivers. Our country needs better infra projects.

Dear Sir, Continued to earlier, 5. In case of natural calamity government can ask online panchnama so that government will have information easily. 6. Also as AAdhar numbers will be linked to each record, subcidy or help can be send immediately. I am sure that this will be very lengthy process and this will not change quality of farmer's life but in case of disaster government can reach very fast to farmers.

When you were on air, you feel the pain of farmers and cleared every doubt. But it doesn't work at ground level because of opposition drama. You should instruct to all DMs/CMs to send officers in the villages and tell farmers about land acquisition act.

Resp. PM, I heard your Mann ki Baat today. Twas very well prepared & influential. But, on certain disputed points, you've also used half-truth & confusing interpretations i.e false in disguise, cleverly. For ex. on 'issue of consent-clause' you said it wasn't in Bill of 2013 referring only to 13 types of tasks, while the truth is that 'the consent-clause was there'except only those 13 and your govt removed it from all sorts of tasks. It's good that you made new proposed law applicable to all

Dear Sir, I wish to suggest following things 1. For all land under agriculture should have centralized registration data statewise or district levelwise. 2. Each record should carry valid aadhar number. 3. Reports registed by talathis should be online for each registration number for every season. 4. In this way government can get the information about the type of crop cultivated, quantity of land with the crop etc. 5. In case of natural calamity government can ask talathis.
