Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will share his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ with the farmers of India on 22nd March 2015.

The Prime Minister is very keen to interact with his farmer sisters and brothers across India and would also like to hear their thoughts, ideas and insights on a wide range of issues relating to agriculture. He has requested farmers across India to write to him and send letters to ‘Mann Ki Baat, Akashvani, Sansad Marg, Delhi – 110001’. Some farmers can ask the Prime Minister their question directly during the episode.

MyGov also gives you all this wonderful opportunity to contribute through ideas and inputs for the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ episode with India’s hardworking farmers.

The PM has repeatedly said that India cannot progress until the farmers of the Nation progress and has assured that the Centre will leave no stone unturned in ensuring the agricultural progress of India.

Food processing industry should be nearer to village. All farmers should be shareholders & minimum land holders will be employees. But it should not be co-operative, run by govt authority only.

Government must Educate farmers for how to farming by using minimum water and fertiliser. and should be used original fertiliser instead of duplicate fertiliser. instead of giving subsidy to the reach and government officers ( below officer level should be beneficiary of subsidy) government must use that particular fund after farmer to save crop and water sources. now its high time to take action instead of talking big stories and confusing calculations shows on TV channels by spoke persons

Honourable Sir, as per my view ,government has to check the NA permission given to the industry, if any industry got NA permission and not used that land for industrial purpose more then 10 years after getting NA permission then that particular land given back to the farmer for produce crop on 05 years lease. After 05 years if industry ready to build plant or any other construction then give back land to the industry otherwise continue lease with farmer for another 05 years. Educate farmers.

Respected Sir, Thinking towards Farmer's is really very nice Thought. Agriculture Sector – The backbone of Indian Economy. Introducing Farmers Cooperatives under cooperative management would be really nice Idea. The first steps must be taken to alleviate the population pressure on land. An increasing percent of the rural population will have to be employed in industry by establishing agrico-industries and agro-industries.
