I WOULD REQUEST THE FM TO ABOLISH CAPITAL GAINS TAX ON STOCK MARKET SECURITIES AND INCREASE STT...MANY PEOPLE DO NOT PAY THE TAX INITIALLY AND ESCAPE PAYING IT IF NO ASSESSMENT IS DONE AND THUS REVENUE LOSS TO THE GOVENMENT...IF STT IS INCREASED AND CAP GAINS IS ABOLISHED GOVT INCOME WILL INCREASE AND REVENUE LEAKAGE WILL BE STOPPED TO A GREAT EXTENT...CAPITAL GAINS LITIGATIONS WILL ALSO REDUCE TO A GREAT EXTENT AS THE TAX IS COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY AT THE TIME OF THE TRANSACTION...THANKS

1. Income tax should be also on the basis of living standard of Individual. Non salaried person/ businessman are having better living standard but they are paying income tax less than a clerk/workmen of Govt. Dept./ PSU Employees.
2. Income Tax on Housing Perks for PSU Employee should be exempt like Central Govt. Employee. PSU employees as also called as Public Servant like central Govt. Employee.
3. Excise duty/ sales Tax should be on MRP of the product to control the price of any product.
