I have been watching Republic Day Celebration say for last 30 years. This year it was great on part of PM to invite President of USA to the event, but after US president who next; we can think of inviting a common man of India to be the chief guest of the ceremony. It will give a different message to the people.

At a young age a boy or a girl needs more money to fulfill his dreams and ambitions. It is a tragedy that one does not get good salary at the start of ones career and even if they manage to get it a lot of it goes in TDS. Increase the income of people by imposing a mere 10% tax on a monthly salary of Rs one lac, and see the change. The working class will never do any wrong. At the same time bring jhuggi people, small time/ roadside vendors to tax net.

There are thousnads and thousands of vndors (mainly roadside) in the country who make very good income in their business. But these people do not pay even a single paisa as income tax. Nobody dares to catch them because they plead they are 'poor'. At the same time a young educated boy earns a small salary of Rs 30 thousand a month and has to pay TDS because there is no escape for him. Kindly do justice for such people.

There is man buying a car for around Rs 50 lacs or more. There is another man who buys a small car, that too on loan, for around Rs 5 lacs. But both of them are buying petrol/ diesel at the same price. What a disparity. Make fuel costlier for those who travel in bigger cars and can pay for it.

Number of Free Railway Passes to railway employees should be reduced to one o two in a year. Similarly, legislators, MPs and ministers should not be given any Railway Pass. This will save a lot of govt revenue.

Packaged food and beverages should be encouraged. allow companies to buy fruits and vegetable for this purpose directly from the farmers. This will lift economic status of farmers, create more jobs and will lead to minimal cooking, thus saving precious fuel.

Minimum tax on commodities of everyday use-- like soaps, talcum powder, eatables, clothing etc. This will encourage people to buy more thus leading to higher spending. Greater purchase means higher production and thus manufacturing sector gets a boost.
