Simplify administrative procedures and use of unnecessary paper by govt. For instance each ministry has a technical arm (Directorate general of....) and the bureaucratic arm ('ministry'). For each arm there are duplicate sections/divisions. Each file has to go up and down one system then the other. Why cant these two systems be merged so that one person handles both the DG... and the Ministry aspects? Then there is no duplication of work, energy, time and clash of policies.

Consumption based taxation rather than income based taxation should be the moto of the government. The former will boost economic activity & with implementation of GST it will be easy to administer. Reduce focus on income based tax generation will ease life of common man and give incentive towards wealth generation and spending.

Dividend distribution tax is unfair to small investor as their returns are impacted. Senior citizens and small investors who do not have large taxable salary, income get hit by tax on their Dividends received on mutual funds, shrares, bond funds at a high tax rate, making these instruments less attractive to them. Replace DDT with normal dividends subject to TDS at 10%. The income from dividends will be taxed in hand of investor at their respective tax rate. This will increase pool of savings.

1. Salaried people exemption can be increased to 3 lakh or based on their Gross income. 2. The restriction on HRA can be relaxed as most of the house owners dont give their PAN Card No. So the tenants are the ones who are suffering because of this and had to pay huge tax because of this. Considering such cases, this restriction can be relaxed.

Senior Citizens need substantial financial support because of the influence of the modern world on the youngsters. They are not bothered to take care of their parents when they grow old and struggle to manage with what they had saved.. Senior citizens should be given special higher rates of Bank interests and should be allowed to open accounts only in their names(not joint names). This would definitely help them and the interest they earn, to a certain extent, should be made tax free.

Sir, My suggestion is govt have to deposit a small amount of Rs 10 cores in any nationalized banks on experiment basis. only interest should be given @ Rs. 5,000/- to the general people those who will like to plant tree in his field or in public place if he do this in the nest year he/she should be rewarded in district level. it should be selected from Free sms/miscall/emails. If this program will fail their will be no loos to govt. because it is a small money/amount and we are giving interest

Can the Indian post office be used to create and manage a digital e-mail facility. As citizens most of the e-mail systems we use are not based in India and the providers scan and used our mails to further their commercial interests. If there was a government backed option available i would reckon that a lot of citizens would want to use that for using this id esp for income tax, gas, banking so on and so forth
