The outbreak of the global pandemic COVID -19 presents a challenging time for everyone around the world. Not only is this pandemic a serious medical concern, but it also brings mixed emotions and psycho-social stressors for all. There are emerging mental health concerns with specific focus on Children, Adolescents and Youth as they more vulnerable to heightened level of stress, anxiety and fearfulness, along with a range of other emotional and behavioral issues. COVID-19 has also brought new stressors on Teachers and Parents hampering their capacity to provide positive support to their wards. While it is important to focus on continuing education on the academic front, we must give equal importance to the mental health and well-being of the students.

Manodarpan, an initiative of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, under the AatmaNirbhar Bharat Abhiyan, aims at mobilizing psycho-social support to help Children, Youth, Teachers and Parents country-wide in a comprehensive and multimodal manner during conditions like COVID-19 and after. For more information, please visit www.mhrd.gov.in/covid-19/

MyGov in collaboration with the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, hereby invites citizens to share ideas and inputs to combat the psycho-social stress on School & College Students, Teachers and Parents, caused due to COVID-19 pandemic. Selected comments may be featured on social media.

Sir I already Mailed You So many times about our situation but I didn't got reply. So I was really disappointed. Because of exam declared in this pandemic we are facing so many difficulties. Just in 15 days class they will complete all suject teaching. How is this possible? We completed everything only 3 subject left because of only 3 subject why can't UGC promote us. Most important subject are in lower sem not in final year. Please think about our lives not quality education. We are also human.

Hi, first parents should take care of a child mental helath, because now a days parents are going into a phobia that my child's study/education is getting worse. What can children do for this, they didn't choose this. So first parents should be taught how to mould a child and be supportive in this tough times. Government can initiate some digital games for children where any one can participate and circulate some free books to those who cannot afford digital medium. Books in the sense comics.

Extra curricular activities like Singing painting dancing Rakesh Yadav 9131123240 rakeshyadavr12@gamail.com Add - village

Sir! myself SHIVAM KUMAR SHARMA. I'm also a student. Now ! we have to continue our study with internet but it's just for study material not for practical. So , as a student I recomend to all students for makeing their own diary of new ideas where they can note their experiences or ideas . In this lockdown every student should find out new things of our life. I hope afer lockdown it will be a good guide book for them. Thank you! Jay Hind..

The Mental health of children during these difficult times cant be neglected. It's one of the primary concerns of parents, online classes, more time spent online are potential times to spoil a child's mind. I run a project called ENRICH ,a social Entrepreneurship platform here we have a section called KIDRICH , we encourage child to spend their time offline by drawing posters, handouts on topics which are present interest We want to keep the young mind thinking yet in the right way.
