As part of the 'Bharat Ki Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' celebrations, a series of events are being organized by the Government of India to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of India’s Independence.

Jai Hind, It is good to gather information about un-sung heroes and collect database. I am glad for such initiative by government. I request my government to include these heroes in school syllabus for 5th std and 6 th std. Give names of these heroes to local projects, constructions, institutions and organizations. Stop slapping names of Politicians and Office bearers to local community buildings. They already have their names in prominent places written with golden ink. Spare local heroes some places to leave behind their name and legacy. The actions govt taking to rekindle the flames of self esteem is commendable and it is necessary to throw away the yoke of slave mentality. We are 5000 years old civilization and I am sure not all heroes left behind some tangible proof of their existence. Some live on in folk tales. Do research on them too. I admit the definition of the Hero is vague, but please make it inclusive. Thank you.
