Calling for stories, videos and ideas on the 11 Fundamental Duties!

Commemorating the 70th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of India this year on 26th November, 2019 , the Government of India launched a campaign focusing on creating awareness on the Fundamental Duties that are enshrined in Chapter IV-A (Article 51A) of the Indian Constitution throughout the country.

Fundamental Duties impart directions of citizenship behaviour on the part of all concerned. The onus of implementation of Fundamental Duties is on every citizen. Though not legally enforceable, they have an inherent element of compulsion regarding compliance because what is duty for one is another person’s right.

By practicing and thus reinforcing these Fundamental Duties, we, as common citizens, can play a positive and effective role in fulfilling our duties towards our country and fellow citizens and will also ensure that India occupies a rightful place in the comity of nations.

MyGov in collaboration with Department of Justice invites you to share your stories, videos or ideas on the 11 Fundamental Duties.

• to cherish and follow the noble ideals which inspired our national struggle for freedom

• to promote harmony and the spirit of common brotherhood amongst all the people of India transcending religious, linguistic and regional or sectional diversities; to renounce practices derogatory to the dignity of women

• to protect and improve the natural environment including forests, lakes, rivers and wildlife, and to have compassion for living creatures
• to develop the scientific temper, humanism and the spirit of inquiry and reform

India needs patriotism, not secularism. We will need to restore Akhan Bhart, which was destroyed by congress. Thanks for waking up India again which was gone in a coma under congress. India strength will need to restore inch by inch in every sector of India. Remember nation comes first, the nation is our identity, and If nation health mean, we get strong. Jai Hind

We all know who is behind Bollywood gangster and money laundering business they are doing using their NGO. Please take strict action against those NGO who are involved in any criminal activities. The nation is rebuilding under your leadership, and people are getting united from everywhere. Everyone can notice that people start trusting our govt, and you have restored the system, which was a complete failure and disaster under congress. For me you are our Marg Darshak like Krishna.

I see the major problem with the enemy growing. Inside India during congress Raj of 60 years in the shape of Anti India NGO, Fake or paid Journalism, Fake TV news, i.e. Alzalzeera and NDTV, Bollywood Mafia gangster who are trying to influence public of India with their precise agenda controlled by our neighbour country. Patriotism needs to develop from school, college and each industry, including entertainment Bollywood industry. That is why education reform is one of the milestones to achiev

Thanks to the communists, we know a lot about our rights but do we know what our fundamental duties are? Do we teach our children that? I have been alive 4 plus decades but I had no clue until recently that I have duties to my country! If India is serious about reforming herself, start with mandatory military service for every boy and girl of a certain age. It will create a disciplined and responsible population. Easiest way to earn world-respect and start becoming a developed nation.

#ItsMyDuty to remember and pay tributes to martyrs on Kargil Vijay Diwas. As PM said today in Mann Ki Baat विजय हौसलों की ऊंचाई से होती है ऊंचाई पर बैठने से नहीं। This applies to other spheres of life as well for being successful
