🔷 1. Preserving and Promoting Tribal Knowledge Systems
Tribal communities possess rich traditional ecological knowledge—about forests, medicinal plants, sustainable living, and biodiversity.
Suggest: Integrate tribal wisdom into environmental policies, Ayurveda research, and local agroforestry projects.
---
🔷 2. Tribal Youth Empowerment through Skill Development
Launch region-specific skilling programs (e.g. bamboo craft, herbal farming, forest produce processing, eco-tourism).
Suggest: Vocational training in tribal areas under Skill India with focus on technology + tradition.
---
🔷 3. Digital Inclusion in Tribal Areas
Promote digital education, telemedicine, and online services in tribal regions.
Suggest: Establish smart classrooms, mobile health vans with internet, and solar-powered digital centers.
---
🔷 4. Forest-Based Economy Boost
Promote value-addition to Minor Forest Produce (MFP) like honey, tamarind, lac, mahua, etc.
Suggest: Build tribal-owned process

Tribal communities are not passive recipients of development; they are partners in progress. Viksit Bharat 2047 cannot be achieved without inclusive, participatory, and respectful integration of tribal aspirations and contributions.

Tribal community are excellent in keeping tradition.. Provide them direct benefits to keep alive there traditional business.. Giving them marketing opportunities without involving middleman... Easy accessble to schemes...tribal communities stays mostly in village or remote they don't aware about government schemes even if they they don't go to apply or avail the schemes.. Due to no proper knowledge of documentation and guidance...
Government should give these task to hiring local person and giving them proper training may be on contract basis or village csc centers..

India’s tribal communities are rich in traditional knowledge, sustainability practices, and cultural heritage. To build a Viksit Bharat by 2047:
#Include tribal wisdom in education and vocational training
#Support tribal-led eco-tourism and forest-based enterprises
#Promote herbal medicine through tribal–AYUSH collaboration
#Showcase tribal art and culture in national platforms
#Ensure policy representation for tribal voices
Let’s empower tribal communities as equal partners in India’s progress.

Tribal communities hold a vital place in shaping a truly inclusive and sustainable "Viksit Bharat" (Developed India). Their role is not only cultural and environmental but also economic and social.
Guardians of Biodiversity and Forests
Tribal groups are natural custodians of forests, wildlife, and traditional ecological knowledge. Their sustainable practices can guide India’s efforts in environmental conservation and climate resilience.
Promoting Indigenous Knowledge
Their deep-rooted knowledge in herbal medicine, natural farming, and sustainable living can support innovations in healthcare, agriculture, and rural development.
Economic Participation and Skill Development
Empowering tribal artisans, farmers, and youth through training and entrepreneurship programs can unlock untapped potential in handicrafts, agro-products, and eco-tourism—contributing to self-reliance and local economies.

We need to empower tribal communities by highlighting / displaying their skill and culture to modern world. No one knows nature better than them. Our PM has initiated many projects to support the cause. I would like to suggest arranging nation wide festival scheme to encourage people to organise local festivals. We used to call it Mela or Jatra. Europe could be good example of maintaining traditional values, culture, food and most important thing it should be neutral not biased for any religion. The government needs to facilitate and control event to maintain consistency across the nation. We need to bring people from all parts of society to build nation. Our great leaders like Tilak did this but time has changed and need to improvise to suit current challenges in society. We need a template for co existence.

The role of tribals in Viksit Bharat is multifaceted, focusing on their empowerment, development, and integration into the country's growth story while preserving their unique cultural heritage. Here are some key aspects ¹ ² ³:
- *Empowerment through Education*: Initiatives like Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) provide quality education to tribal students in remote areas, facilitating access to higher education and employment opportunities. The budget allocation for EMRS has increased to ₹7,088.60 crore.
- *Economic Development*: Programs like Pradhan Mantri Vanbandhu Vikas Yojana and Vanbandhu Kalyan Yojana aim to improve livelihoods, healthcare, and infrastructure in tribal areas. The government has also ensured Minimum Support Price (MSP) for Minor Forest Produce, aiding in the marketing of tribal products.
- *Healthcare and Nutrition*: Initiatives like the Sickle Cell Anemia Mission provide free treatment and screening for tribal communities.
