Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance or UMANG developed by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology was inspired from the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister, who said “e-Governance, let us think about ‘mobile first’ and thus give importance to m-Governance”.

On November 23, 2017, the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi dedicated the UMANG Mobile app to the Nation with 163 services. UMANG is an initiative to build a common, unified platform, aggregating major government services of Center, States, local bodies, including important utility services, to facilitate a single point access through mobile app, anytime, anywhere. Citizens need to download just one mobile application and can access multiple services.

UMANG was envisaged to have a transformative and historic impact on the lives of citizens by allowing them to avail digital services on 24*7, without any intermediary. Connected government, effective & economic governance, citizen centricity, inclusiveness, universal access and citizen participation in governance are some of the key benefits of UMANG for citizens as well as the Government.

Within a short period of its successful running, the mobile app bagged the ‘Best m-Government Service’ award at the 6th World Government Summit held at Dubai, UAE, in February 2018. UMANG also won at the IDC Digital Transformation Awards 2018 in August, under the category Omni-experience Innovator, which recognized it as a pioneering initiative.

The ‘Digital India Jury choice award 2018-19’ and DARPG Gold award 2018-19 for ‘Excellence in providing Citizen Centric Delivery’ respectively, were also bestowed upon UMANG. Information dissemination and delivery of government services, for assisting citizens on various aspects of life & livelihood, is being taken to another level through the consolidation of many important and widely used government services onto a single unified mobile app i.e. UMANG

UMANG Team now invites your suggestions for which 3 new services to on-board from State/Central Government departments on to the UMANG Platform.

UMANG must aim at 1.provide avenues for innovative Enterprineur Ship 2.provide avenues for easy and successful processes of learning. 3. Provide avenues for fastest diagnosis and cure of killing deceases.

Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance (UMANG), is a mobile app, a Digital India initiative[1] of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (in short form MeitY[2]), by the Government of India for access to central and state government services. The app supports 13 Indian languages and is available for Android, iOS and Windows.The app is aimed at all citizens of India and offers hundreds of services including payment, registration, information search and application forms.[3] It is a component of the Digital India initiative, intending to make government services available to the general public online and around the clock.[4][5] The app was developed by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology with the National e-Governance Division[4] and launched in November 2017 by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Global Conference on Cyberspace in New Delhi.[3] 3 new service like 1..Administration of protection. 2.. Umang app should be made like a twitter handle to address citizen grievances and suggestions. Any Grievance or suggestion post should be directed to respective ministry. For eg. If a citizen has grievance regarding services on Railways or a suggestion on platform or station facility it should be directed to Railway ministry or Railway minister too depending upon the severity of grievance. This way Twitter handle can be replaced with Umang once its effectiveness is noticed by citizens in resolving their problems faced

Happy New Year Namastey Sir Sir yeh New Year 01-01-2022 ki sabse phli baat rakhne ja rhi hu apke samne. Sir me apse kehna chahti hu ki please aap JKPSC AND UPSC ki GENERAL Category ki age jo ki abi 32 years hai usko Increase krne ke baare me soche. Kyuki Sir baki jo b Reserved Category hai unko relaxation 37 yrs ki age tak hai. Sir agar voh log 37 ki age tak apply kr skte hai toh hum kyu nhi aakhir hum sab ek hai ek hum apke lie ek jaise hai. Sir me b KAS bnna chahti hu. Sir kafi log kuch responsibilities ki vajah se apply nhi kar pate phle me b unme se ek hu. Sir in fields me kafi aisi jobs hai JKPSC & UPSC me jha fitness ke sath sath experience matter krta hai. My new Idea is mobile based app. That can help parents, kids, nation, government and private companies. I would like to have proper guidance and help to develop the Idea. I am not a technical programmer hence want to work with government sponsored team to develop this app. We can add these features into Umang App and make it a better product .
