During the year 2015-16, India spent Rs.4.82 lakh crores on imports to fulfill domestic demand. To reduce the import burden, and also to work towards to a greener environment, it is proposed to avoid usage of Petrol/Diesel for one day in a week.

Our Hon’ble Prime Minister has urged all citizens to avoid usage of Petrol/Diesel for one day in a week. He has said that if 125 crore Indians pledge to do this, the dream of a ‘New India’ can be achieved.

Citizens are invited to suggest ways for encouraging and motivating the masses to avoid the usage of Petrol/Diesel for one day, every week.

The last date of submission is 15th April, 2017, 12:00PM

The best way to Encourage/Motivate the masses to avoid petrol/diesel use for one day in a week could be: 1)By making availability of e-vehicles at cheap prices which is already working in my locality, now people use e-rikswas insted of cars to move in local area More improvement could be done in this sector by designing standard e-vehicles to avoid cars for a day 2)Awareness about fitness so that if the distance is short people may Choose to walk insted of any vehicle #MyGov #MPNG #PCRA

We should do it one Wednesday as this is the middle of a week and people have less burden in comparison to other days. Maximum population burns their fuel due to lack of good public transport facility. We cannot improve the same system in one day however government can provide extra transport support of environmentally friendly fuel from the outer circle of Delhi to go to Gurgaon or other location bases on the movement of daily traffic data.This

Sir,my suggestions are: 1.Develop public transport in cities and manage time in such a way that people must feel public transportation reduces their journey time. 2.Encourage startups to develop and produce Electric Motorcycles and cars and also solar enabled cars and buses. 3. Make laws so critical i.e., say that who doesn't have his own land to park vehicles are not eligible to buy motorcycles or cars.Also don't issue driving licenses for those people

Dear Sir, In our country first problem of the most of people they know how to waste the valuable things such as foods,petrol/diesel,etc.& they do very well in this part but don't know to how to utilize in proper way which actually help to others who required most because of word first for me than later be there(selfishness).so first have to change the motto with the word"me to we all" & for this awareness is required as much as possible than we solve the problem optimum utilization of resources

सभी कार्यालयाें एवं पाठशालाअाें की सप्ताह में एक दिन अावश्यक अवकाश हाे अाैर उस दिन काे र्इधन मुक्त दिवस घाेषित किया जाए । पेट्रोल/डीजल दुकानें भी बंद रहें । केवल बेहद अावश्यक हाेने पर ही वाहन चलाने की अनुमति हाे । मंदिर अादि जगह लाेग पदयात्रा करके दर्शन करने पहुंचें । उस दिन विशेष पर दुकानदार सिनेमाहाॅल चाहें ताे पैदल अाने वालाें काे छूट भी दे सकते हैं ।

Jai hind my idea is that declare Monday as non/less petrol/diesel day.use public announcement like FM,TV,news paper ,SMS,whattsapp message encourage people on that day that will help.EK DIN DESH KE NAM.do ur routine work but little bit different way

जैसे हम लोग व्हाट्सएप्प में कुछ मैसेज आता हैं कि ये मैसेज को शेयर करो और रिचार्ज मिलेगा उसी प्रकार गवर्मेंट को व्हाटसअप पर लोगो से कहे कि जागरूकता अभियान की जो इस योजना को 10 लोग में शेयर करेगा उसके खाते में 5 रुपए आ जाएगा।।
