The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) is a highly vibrant and dynamic sector of the Indian economy with over 6 Crore units, providing employment to 11 Crore+ people (after Agriculture), having 28% share of GDP and 40% of exports. Like other sectors, MSME also has been adversely affected in terms of productivity during COVD 19. Accordingly, the efficiency and productivity of MSME assume further significance to achieve overall objectives of economic development and a V shape recovery of the Indian Economy.

Draft National Policy for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in India is a continuation of various measures taken to date to promote competitiveness, technology upgradation, infrastructure, cluster development, dedicated credit, procurement of products & financial assistance to MSME.

Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises invites stakeholders, Industry Associations, MSME units and general public to share suggestions and comments on the Draft Policy. The purpose is to firm up adaptive and inclusive National Policy for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.

Expansion of the MSME sector requires assistance in the multifarious procedures involving the legislative, taxation and financial systems for establishing a new company, acquiring land, construction at the site, installation of machineries, and recruitment of labor. For high-quality products, sophisticated machinery, often to be imported, is needed. A long gestation period is inevitable for a start-up plan to materialize into an on-going profitable manufacturing unit. Thus, the financial requirement is complex and calls for coordinated action by long-term lending institutions and commercial banks specializing in short-term lending and they in turn need suitable advisory bodies to assess the technical soundness of the project. The process involves multi-window services with inter-window communication and suitable networking is needed. Furthermore, the Federal structure of the nation necessitates Centre-State synergy in fulfilling the national strategy in the development of MSME Sector.

RESPECTED PM GOOD EVENING. SELF HELP GROUP RUN BY LADIES IN VARIOUS STATES ARE UNDER THE CONTROL OF THE RESPECTIVE STATE. THESE SELF HELP GROUP ACTIVITIES ARE SOLELY RUN BY LADIES AND HUGE AMOUNT OF MONEY IS GETTING CIRCULATED. WE CAN THINK OF MERGING THESE GROUPS ALONG WITH MICRO ENTERPRISES AND MAKE LADIES TO GET INVOLVED DIRECTLY IN THEIR BUSINESS INSTEAD OF KEEPING THEM UNDER THE CONTROL OF THE STATE GOVERNMENT. EVERY PROGRESS IN STATES ARE UNDER THE SUPPORT OF CENTRAL GOVERNMENT ONLY. RESPECTIVE STATE GOVERNMENTS SHOULD REALIZE THIS. SANKARAN

Best way to get bribe is to delay even most genuine things eg. License , permits etc. Even if all the documents and requirements are complete officers/burecrates tend to delay these . Ultimately a common man is so frustrated due to this month on month delay and due to losses due to these delay he gives bribes , why there is no estimated maximum time is defined in the government eg one has to either accept or decline a application within one week or max 15 days if officer does not do that the applicant can sue him with corruption charges and why there is no inspection done on corruption done by these officers , for eg I applied for mandi licence and i know wheat season will start in april but if the officer delays my license till may i will have heavy losses so I will pay him bribe ,most so called honest of your officers are playing this game please speak on it on man ki baat , I am going to file a PIL on the matter

The primary source of milk and other dairy products in Punjab is the buffalo. The state ranks at the top in the country in the availability of milk after Haryana and Gujarat. Punjab plans 100 dairies to promote dairy farming. In an effort to promote dairy farming in the state, the Government of Punjab is planning to open 100 commercial dairies to increase milk production, thus paving the way for White Revolution.
