International Day of Yoga is also called as the World Yoga Day. The idea of International Day of Yoga was first proposed by the Honourable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, during his speech at the UNGA, on 27 September 2014. United Nations General Assembly declared 21st of June as the International Day of Yoga on 11th of December in 2014. Since 2015, 21st June is always celebrated as the International Day of Yoga all over the world.

This year, on the occasion of International Day of Yoga, Ministry of AYUSH has decided to invite suggestions/ideas/plans/proposals from Youth/ Youth Clubs/Senior citizens/Professionals/State Governments/Yoga Schools etc. for Celebrating the International Day of Yoga-2017, which can be undertaken on that day.

The last day of submission of ideas is 20th March, 2017.

Respected Sir, I am presently a student of class 9th in City Montessori School,Lucknow,India. So as a student I request you sir that you should appeal to all the schools of India to organise Yoga for atleast one hour in school premises.It will be very benificial for all the students throughout the country and it will be a great and successful step towards making our India a Healty and fit India.

IF YOU REMAIN IN GOVERNMENT THAN YOU GIVE MORE BENEFIT.SPEND FOR GENERAL PEOPLE GIVE SUBSIDY FOR GAS TO THOSE AVAIL TAKE CARE OF ALL DAILY USE ITEM PRICE CONTROL OTHER WISE YOU WILL BE LOOSE OUR AMIBICIOUS PM MODI THAN WE WILL MORE DAMAGE THE COUNTRY. It should be mandatory for every govt.& public setups to organise weekly "YOGA camps by asking the concerned authority to do so, and after organizing the same submit a report of the same to the appropriate authority.These high authority should set out by central govt. which act as coordinator between the central govt. and the public . The whole process and data can be combined to get a world publishing scenario in which we will definitely top and get to record ourselves as milestone.

It should be mandatory for every state government to organise at least some minimum number of YOGA camps by asking the MLA's to do so in their constituencies and thereafter submit a report of the same to he central govt. . The whole data can be combined to get a world publishing scenario in whuch we will definitely top and get to record ourselves to the RECORD BOOK.

On International Day of Yoga - 2017 Govt cant ask schools, colleges, public offices to send their pictures of celebrating yoga. Best pictures or some random pictures can be awarded so that people will participate.#InternationalDayOfYoga2017
