One of the pillars of Digital India is to provide pan-India internet access through broadband highways. In sync to this, BharatNet is being successfully executed to provide optical fiber connection to 2,50,000 Gram Panchayats by 2019. Some experts have suggested that India can leverage its current cable infrastructure to provide last mile internet access via cable lines and ensure internet for all.

In this regard, MyGov is inviting citizens of India to give suggestions on policy and technology infrastructure that can lead to this access revolution, fulfilling the below-mentioned objectives
1) What are the possibilities from policy and technology perspective to maximize the usage of our cable network?
2) What are the potential challenges that could emerge in this process?
3) On comparing opportunities to challenges, does this emerge as a viable option?

Internet is a basic right to human in most part of the world same as electricity, water, food and air. Most important part is to not only allow internet but safe and secure. Each person with his/her aadhar number can login to the internet for an hour and then needs to re-login. Equal rights for BSNL as well as private players to spread high speed internet should be given. An example, in my hometown Rishikesh, BSNL provides the worst service and youngsters are relying on Jio sims for studies.
