For ease of administration link all government accounts of a person with a common login account. One can manage his personal tax, adhaar card, Pan card, pension, insurance, vehicle tax, road tax and any traffic infringement and all such govt related transactions at one place. Ease of administration for both govt and citizen. Reducing corruption for e.g traffic fines can be paid online instead of allowing the officer to collect it. It will also reduce corruption in other govt offices.

Please look at all the 'Disproportionate Asset' legal cases pending in courts on politicians & business man. We need a 'Legal system' where guilty are punished and at a timely manner. When defaulters know that they can get away with present legal system, no amount of tax & admin reform will help. There is no use in treating the symptoms but need is to treat the cause of the disease. Police & Legal system should be empowered to be free of political interference for the reforms to succeed.

Set up fast track taxation courts to act as appellate authority. Do not flood the High Court with cases relating to tax interpretations. Each taxation case should be disposed by a particular date.
Do not give tribunal judges a vacation. Same goes for High Court judges. They are not school children who should be given vacations. This is not the British Era where the judicial penetration was low. We salaried people work day in and day out. Our judiciary must also update itself.

IT IS NICE TO CAALL FOR THE VIEWS OF PEOPLE TO EXPRESS. THE TAX SYSTEM IS OUTDATED, MAY BE IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN COPIED FROM OUTSIDE INDIA. SO WE HAVE TO MAKE IT MAKE IT AS SIMPLE AS POSSIBLE. THE TAX EXEMPTION MUST BE RAISED TO 5 LACS RUPEES IF GOVT WANTS TO HELP THE PEOPLE.. IN 1990, TOOR DAL WAS COSTING AROUND RS15/- PER KG. NOW IT IS COSTING MORETHAN RS130/- PER KG. COMPARE THE TAX EXEPTION RATE IN 1990 & NOW. WHY SUCH HUGE GAP IS EXISITING. WITHOUT INCREASING THE LIMIT WHATEVER THE GOVT ALL TH

Businessmen, lawyers, doctors, tutors, shopkeepers etc earn crores of rupee every year and doesn't pay any tax. Why is govt. not bringing any rule to target such people. Why all the tax burden is on salaried class and in return the people who pay tax doesn't get anything in return

With respect to direct individual tax, govt. always targets salaried class and doesn't focus much on self employed like doctors who earn in crores every year and pay no tax because all the money they earn is in cash and there us no proof of that. Govt. should bring some rules to tax such people
Also after paying lakh of rupee of tax every year, salaried class doesn't get any special benefit or social security. Govt. should do something for people who pay taxes on time

I suggest we take a look at the business of setting up trusts (particularly in the name of minors or with minors as so called beneficiaries) which are more often than nought, set up by HNIs and corporates to avoid taxes. The public at the lower end of the strata is unable to take the same advantage as such public is either unaware of the system or is held back by the high fees charged by CAs and lawyers.

My suggestion is regarding various tax exemptions / rebates. The tax regime should be simplified by withdrawing all such exemptions/ rebates and raising the minimum taxable income. A differential can be maintained for senior citizens / women.

My suggestion is regarding levy of toll tax on roads. Though some of the constraints will be removed once GST rolls out, however if the levy could be transferred / collected as specific cess on sale of petrol/diesel, we can fully do away with the toll system. The levy could be a flat rate across all states / UTs and shared in proportion to their respective share in the funds of the Union. Alternatively, the levy could be different in different states/UTs corresponding to their share of funds.
