Similarly, lawyer, doctors, private consultants, etc are earning very high perks but unfortunately they are out of Income tax, sell tax & service tax radar and they are collecting black money. In my view about 10 crore more persons are earning more than 5 lakhs a month, so if some ideas is invented then it might be possible that tax pay may increase from 3.5 crore to 13.5 crore. This black money is pushing inflation higher and higher.

I think out of these 3.5 crore persons about 2-3 crore persons will be central as well as state govt. employee & pensioners. Sir, there are about 600 districts in India & on average about 1 lakh shops exists & in India about 10-20 thousands tuition classes must be running where about 20-50 thousands teachers are earning better than govt. employees. I think there are more than 1 lakhs vegetable vendors in urban areas of all over India who are earning more than 5000 a day.

everyone must be agreed that any person wants to save money; if anyone is not saving it is not his/her fault, it is due to his/her liabilities. As per TOI news, only 3.5 crore persons are paying income tax, out of these 3.5 Crores persons about 89% are in the slab of 0-5 lakhs and only 42800 persons are in the slab of more than 1 crore. Does it not seem awkward that in the 125 crore persons only 3.5 crore are paying income tax?

, I am exhausted with these IT rule in our country, why 2.5 lakh tax slab & 1.5 lakh saving separately? Why not tax slab is fixed at 4 lakhs? With these rule, it is clear that if you have more liabilities then you have to pay more taxes because you are not doing any savings. I understand that saving done by citizen is used by govt. for development of country & also citizen itself also used their saving for better future. But sir, think about those person who are not able to save money.

In coming union budget instead of increasing tax exemption govt should exempt expenses made through debit card depending upon slab of income tax, supposing those coming under 5lac bracet should get 1lac exemption on expenses done through credit card or net banking.
This will discourage people from using cash and will help in curbing black money generation.

8. Incentivize the entire tax paying mechanism
1. On time tax payers
2. Advanced tax payers
3. Accurate tax payers
4. High tax payers can be categorized into various categories and some reward mechanisms can be annexed to them. It can be monetary or non monetary.
We call it as Gamification in IT terminology and IT partners of Income tax department would be able to implement this for more user friendly IT application system. With more ppl using Internet every year, in longer run it wil help

6. Please introduce a mobile application for filing taxes. This will help people to file the taxes with simple applications and reduce the amount they have to pay to companies which help them to submit tax and make business out of it.
7. Kindly reduce tax burden of Salaried tax payers. We pay both direct taxes and heavy indirect taxes (service tax, VAT, Entertainment tax, Luxury tax etc.) which is burdening us.

5. Please announce a policy on how excise duties will be levied on oil. As the International prices come down, more and more excise duties are collected. Kindly publicise the policy based on which additional duty is collected and what that money will be used for. It cannot be used for reducing fiscal deficit target as this is not a sustainable way according to me.
