As India embarks on the journey of breaking into the top 5 major economies of the world there is a need to realize the Prime Minister's goal of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, and Sabka Vishwas. One of the foundation pillars for realizing this dream is to upskill and reskill individuals to supplement income and increase livelihood prospects.

A typical family in the Rurban parts of the country is managed by the homemaker who is generally the female member. She spends a substantial part of her day settling a variety of household errands and working through her daily job. However, after all this, she does have a few hours to spare which if put to productive use, could augment the income of the household significantly.

We call in your suggestions and ideas which would help such homemakers explore alternative income sources in their spare time.

सभी शहरी एवम ग्रामीण कस्बों में गृहणियों के लिए अतिरिक्त आय सुनिश्चित करने हेतु सरकार द्वारा कुटीर उद्योगों की स्थापना की जानी चाहिए तथा उपयुक्त प्रशिक्षण के पश्चात उनकी रुचि के अनुसार दैनिक उपयोग की वस्तुओं का उत्पादन कर उनके उत्पाद के प्रचार प्रसार हेतु सरकारी स्तर पर प्रयास किये जायें तथा उत्पादों की राष्ट्रीय , अंतरराष्ट्रीय मानक में लाकर उन्हें एक बाज़ार मुहैया कराई जाए ।केवल गृहणियों के लिए ऐसे कार्यक्रमों द्वारा उन्हें प्रोत्साहित कर उनके लिए अतिरिक्त आय की ब्यवस्था की जा सकती है । धन्यवाद

The persons included in the households is of 4 types 1. Those who are professionally qualified or highly educated who are not willing to go out and work 2. Those who are required to stay in house for looking their kids or elderly 3. Those who are illiterate/ or under literate 4. Those don't have a suitable job in their surroundings for their skills I am submitting a pdf file detailing the action to be taken to ensure the utilisation of the idle force effectively and guarantee income

Various employment opportunities for housewives could be- 1- As a supplement helper to Aganwadi staff. 2- As a supplement helper to Hospital staff....say for distribution of food,and medicine and servings tea , coffee to the staff. 3-As helpers to private kindergardens. 4-As sales women in malls and all. 5-As helpers for old age homes. 6- As a survey agent for various government schemes. 7-After specific training as a beauty parlour,Boutique owner or Tailoring related work.

If you have skills in Fashion Design and Garments why not start selling them online? You can create a seller account Flipkart/Amazon or eBay.in and start making money by starting selling Garments, Fashion craft, and any other handmade Fashion accessories.

To put it another way of earning money, Indian housewife can make money doing Virtual Assistant Jobs in Part Time. You need very special skills of quick and aggressive typing knowledge. Ad posting jobs has the best career options for housewives. You have to post classified ads in the different type of classified websites. The Average earning on such classified posting is upto 15K per month.
