Covering various aspects of topics related to the Panchayati Raj System, Schemes and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through this ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ iconic week, let’s provide a strong source of inspiration to all citizens of this country inviting their ideas on the PanchayatVision@2047.

A streamlined governance, especially at the local level benefits the nation as a whole. India is a signatory to the UN 2030 Agenda to achieve inclusive and people-centric sustainable development through the 17 SDGs.

Thus, with greater cooperation from the citizens of India, efforts of the Government of India and the local bodies towards a qualitative and quantitative transformation of the Panchayati Raj System would be fulfilled.

Last date to share your ideas is 14th May 2022.

All Villages Panchayats should have a good roads, proper street lights, transportation and storage facilities to help the farmers to sell their products conveniently. This will definitely help them. The Government can procure the products from the farmers and sell it to the retailers. This will prevent the middleman from looting money from the farmers. We could see that paddy (rice) stored in open storage during monsoon season are destroyed due to damp climate. Each Village should have a good storage facility and farmers can avail the facilities to use them at a nominal fee. Government should seriously consider to save these products. Those who don't maintain these storage facilities has to be punished severely. Tons of wheat, rice and other items are wasted every year. This has to be prevented across the country. MLAs and MPs and local bodies members should be held accountable for these wastage and the loss should be recovered from them and given to the affected farmers. Jai Hind

Dedicated grievance system for village ( Panchayat) level issues. Government of India has always neglected the complaints from Rural India and that's my personal experience. Central government deals with problems in cities only but when time come to face the complaints in rural area, CPGRAMS directly close the complaints and ask the complainant to contact state government. Why this partiality ? Why Government of India shows apathy to the Citizens residing in rural area ? If you really want to solve the Panchayat level problems then start a dedicated grievance system for for them. You can not deny this fact as I have proofs in hand. Don't forget that both upper and lower house have MPs from Rural India too.

निचले अर्थात पंचायत स्तर पर भी भ्रष्टाचार एक बड़ा मुद्दा है।इस पर लगाम लगाने के लिए सख़्त और पारदर्शी नीति बने।
